“Really rad shop, lots of different brands, tons of boards, hats, clothes, and shoes to check out.My only critique is that many of the items in store don’t have price tags, so it’s a mystery what anything costs. I bought a cool beans shop hat and the lady working there charged me $27.50 for it. Seemed high for a local shop hat. The receipt didn’t show what I had paid for, just that it was a “custom payment” It almost seemed as though she decide to just raise the price on it for me.Would like more visibility with what things costs here. That being said, I love to support local shops and will be returning.”

“My son just received his 33”-3 that he will be using for his upcoming Senior in High school year and he can’t wait to use it. Right away he noticed the weight and elephant print grip. Proud to be part of the 44 Pro Family! Keep making great products.”
“A Karate Journey Rooted in Tradition and DedicationAs a child, I grew up watching and idolizing the legendary Mr. Miyagi in "Karate Kid." The idea of martial arts, respect, tradition, and the path to earning one's belt always intrigued me. That fascination led me to practice Kyokushin Karate, a Japanese martial art deeply steeped in tradition. My wife, who achieved her black belt as a kid over a decade ago, practiced Kanzen-Ryu, both of which have their origins in Goju-Ryu, the grandfather of all Japanese Karate styles originating from Okinawa. When my wife and I became parents, it was crucial for us to find a place that not only embraced ancient traditions but was also led by someone with a deep understanding of Karate. That's when we discovered Bushikan Karate Dojo, a place that exceeded our expectations in every way.Sanguinetti Sensei, the head Sensei, and Chrisan Sensei lead this dojo with unwavering dedication and a commitment to preserving the true essence of Japanese Karate. Unlike other dojos that rush students to black belts in less than a year, Bushikan Karate Dojo emphasizes respect, tradition, and the importance of earning one's belts through hard work and dedication. Our daughter, at just 6 years old, embarked on her Karate journey at Bushikan Karate Dojo. After 2.5 years of dedication and hard work, she proudly earned her yellow belt. I'll never forget the moment she turned to me and said, "Papa, I really worked hard to earn this belt." It was a testament to the values instilled at the dojo—values that extend far beyond the martial arts mat.Today, as she continues her journey, she looks at her belt and declares, "I will continue until I get a black belt." Her determination and passion make me incredibly proud as a parent. I know that no matter what path she chooses in life, the lessons she learns at Bushikan Karate Dojo will serve her well.Even our rambunctious 4.5-year-old son, who once couldn't sit still or clean up after himself, has undergone a remarkable transformation in just 7 months. Thanks to the discipline and guidance at the dojo, he now not only cleans up but also understands when it's time to play and when it's time to wait.Bushikan Karate Dojo isn't just a place to learn martial arts; it's a place where children and parents alike discover the value of respect, tradition, and the rewards of hard work. If you're a parent seeking a dojo that nurtures these qualities and instills a genuine appreciation for earning belts through dedication, then Bushikan Karate Dojo is the perfect place to go.Thank you, Sanguinetti Sensei and Chrisan Sensei, for creating a dojo that inspires and transforms young minds while honoring the rich tradition of Japanese Karate.”
