We think she's the best vet we've ever been lucky enough to have. This isn't some terrible chain clinic where the main thing vets are taught is how to pad the bill (and there are lots of those out there). Her personal attention to detail and her dedicated staff offer the best care possible for our dog. I simply cannot recommend he highly enough. And I do so all the time.

TERI Common Grounds Café & Coffee Bar
555 Deer Springs Rd, San MarcosThis is really nice facility. I wish I could've had a tour guide, leader or facilitator of sort. We walked right up between buildings 4 & 5 . . . right where we weren't supposed to be. Staff was walking residents between buildings just as we began reading an honorary donator's placard along the sidewalk. The staff was very pleasant in their approach while guiding the residents through and pointed us to the first building on the left before you go through the roundabout. In the roundabout, do stop and read the renditions of what to expect from the soon-to-be very awesome Teri San Marcos facility. We ate in the Common Grounds Café and Coffee Bar and ordered a tea and Cubano sandwich. Just after we sat, then the line began to form and it got to be a very busy lunch crowd occupying most of the indoor tables, as there was adequate seats and facility (gas grills) for another function out there as well. The sandwich was good . . . and big, that came with the very good house-made chips. Everything appears and tastes as if it is all house-made food and goods in the coffee shop. The Earl of Sandwich would have been proud of the Cubano as it had all of the perfect sandwich ingredients, except . . . there was too much pork that it overwhelmed the remainder of their unique take on the "Cubano" ingredients, textures and flavors. Do visit the facility, and do stop in end get some great food. I want to try their Vietnamese Chimichurri as i hope their menu doesn't change too soon. Good stuff. This is gonna get much better. We sat out on the quaint patio covered with passionfruit tree vines. The guy running the place was extremely nice and informative when we asked questions about the ciders... everything is sourced locally from North County. We didn't try any of the meads while there, but we did pick up a bottle to take home... I'm sure it will be awesome!

This brewery is more tucked away on a back Vista road, but it's worth finding your way here. The tasting room bay widows open up, and it's a perfect place to sit while the sun is out and enjoy the amazing weather.
There are often food trucks here while you can grab some food while you enjoy your beer.

I would elect to go with either the sophisticated hipster restaurant vibe or the sports bar look. Trying to combine the two doesn't work very well. The sushi was good, and the pork katsu donburi was a great comfort food. We dined there around 12:15 pm on a Saturday, and the server told us that they were already serving the dinner menu. Who eat dinner at noon? The dinner bento portion was big. if my son weren't 17 and just played a soccer game, I don't think he could have finished the whole thing by himself.

They offer cans and crawlers to go, but cider is always better on draft. You can also find their most common ciders in distribution in Southern California. You might have to hunt for them, but you can typically find where they are being sold using the Untapped App.

What really stood out to me was their impressive variety of unique, over-the-top flavors, alongside classic options for the traditionalists. I couldn't resist the piña colada flavor--if you know me, you know that me and my girl PC go wayyyy back. WOW - it was like a nostalgic trip down memory lane, light, refreshing, and simply delicious. My husband went for a more decadent choice, and it was everything you could want in a rich, creamy treat. Heavy, filling but wow just wow. Winston's is a must-visit for anyone in the area--whether you're a local or just passing through, you'll leave with a smile and a satisfied sweet tooth! Just curious if they have dog flavors? Can we make that happen?!?! Like consider it at the minimum.
