We are very happy we trusted Pacific Coast Hardscapes with our full backyard renovation! When we decided to put in a pool, we knew we would need to find a skilled landscape company to design and execute the surrounding areas, and PCH came highly recommended. They listened to our needs and worked with us to come up with an excellent design. They helped us through the long and arduous permitting process, working behind the scenes to satisfy all the city’s requirements. Once permitting was complete, it was full steam ahead, and PCH executed our project expeditiously. As a designer myself, I admit that I have high standards of perfection, and PCH exceeded my expectations. I was most impressed by their effort to really do things right. Whenever any issue came up, they were quick to address it, find a solution and make things right. Despite their name, their expertise encompasses design, permitting, hardscape, landscaping, lighting, irrigation, shade structures, fencing, turf, and much more. I would recommend them to anyone looking to do a landscape project, and I plan to use them again for my future projects.

I was in a bind right after a house sale home inspection and need a quote ASAP. I called and Kyle answered and listened patiently to me and even though he was busy dropping his kids of to school at the time, made sure to respond to me with a reato my needs as soon as he was back in his office before continuing with his day.. Pacific Coast Hardscapes exceeded our expectations, in quality, speed, and professionalism. From our first discussions with Cathy through the final touches with Matt, we felt incredibly spoiled to have such quick communication, advice without pressure, and respect for our budget and timeline. Every question we had was answered very quickly. Cathy provided suggestions and options that we hadn't even thought of. Pacific Coast Hardscape was hands down the best contracting service we've ever had the pleasure of working with. Most contracting services we've worked with didn't seem to really care what we wanted especially if it created any sort of challenge for them, not to mention we'd never know if they were even going to show up as scheduled, if at all. With Pacific Coast, Matt was amazing to work with from the initial consult to completion of the project. He made sure we got exactly what we wanted and even added his input on design decisions when we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. Based on all his experience, he gave us great solutions/ideas that were functional, practical, and looked great while also being cost conscious to ensure we stayed within our budget. When any issues arose, which there were only a few minor, Matt addressed immediately and had the appropriate team/individual to our house the very next morning if not same day. They did an amazing job on our complete backyard remodel. Everything they did turned out even better than we had hoped for. If you have any backyard project, we highly recommend you give Pacific Coast a call.

We had a pool hardscape and drainage issue in back yard and decided to address after all the rain this year. After multiple assessments from various companies, we got a recommendation for Matt at Pacific Coast Hardscapes. After speaking with Matt we had confidence to go forward and remove palm trees (which had completely destroyed drainage), replace the drains and replace concrete with pavers. Everything was done within the timeframe discussed, all work was completed and yard looks fantastic now. Matt and his team even picked up on minor repairs, addressed them in a pragmatic way and made sure he had addressed all our questions (we had a lot and he was very patient). Overall extremely happy and look forward to next project with Pacific Coast Hardscapes!Services: Landscape installations

The crew at Pacific Coast Hardscapes were professional from start to finish. Our large project encompassed the area around a new pool. Pavers, steps, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and landscaping. From start to finish Matt & company were a pleasure to deal with.The estimate process went smoothly and was accurate. Matt quickly established what was required by the city regarding a standing wall and we were able to work with that. The end result looks fantastic.They began work right after the new year, just as they said they would and worked at compared to other contractors I've used was blazing speed. The yard was cleared and both walls installed in 10 days including a couple rain days. The end result was exactly as planned.They were able to sort through the mess of an irrigation system left from a 20 yr old install and redo things properly.I had a basic idea of a plant layout but Matt suggested a particular design and I went with it and it looks better than anything I would have come up with. Installation of the plants and assorted bedding etc. took 4 days. This included Matt having to source all these native plants out of season.So in short I got a high quality front yard redo that was exactly as estimated installed in record time.
