Kenny's in the house all good! Lol Looks like they have got some good people on board now, still think they should have a line for people who don't need help and just need to pay.

Unbelievably terrible customer service. I’m sure the two gentlemen working tonight will remember this. I called to return some small batteries and the one worker said that they take them in. When I showed up there, the other employee said that they stop taking in the batteries about a week ago. My reply after a long week of work was dang it’s getting really hard to do things around here. Don’t you guys agree. Things are just getting to be a struggle no matter what it is. The one gentleman replied. Yeah well that’s how it is and I should know these things. Thrown off by the rude response since I have been going there for years I proceeded to say hey, I am on your side and just venting a little bit and trying to figure out where to take my batteries. Followed with more smart remarks and told to get the F out of the store as I’m already walking out. I will never go back to that dump again. I have been going there for a long time, the manager actually gives me a discount because I’ve been hassled there so many times. Well, if you are the manager, and you are reading this, I actually appreciate you. As for the employees that you have to work with. I feel sorry for you. You will never see my face in there again. You obviously don’t hire people based on the knowledge of automobiles. The least you could do is hire a decent personality.

Came in to have my brakes inspected, Terry gave me a sweet deal on the pads for the front tires and the mechanic, Salomon, whom I had a great conversation with, swiftly changed out the old pads for new ones that were very much worn down. Would definitely come back for any future issues.

This O'Reilly sold us an incorrect, but identical looking, battery for our family car. Receipt showed the correct battery, they just literally grabbed the wrong one off the shelf. It fried the computer in our car and caused $2000+ worth of repairs. We submitted a claim and were told that it was approved and that we would be reimbursed for the damage. The store manager, George, yanked us around for close to two months (all this while we didn't have our car as we waited to be able to fix it) saying he was waiting for a check, avoided our calls, didn't contact us when he said he would, and was generally dismissive and rude and completely avoidant and unhelpful. Eventually we managed to get the issue kicked up to his district manager, Nick, who is now behaving the same way after apologizing and assuring us that he would help. He's completely ghosted us. Meanwhile, we paid for the repair because we needed our car back and were told, multiple times, that our claim had been approved and they were just waiting to receive a check. This is our primary family vehicle -- we also had a new baby a week ago. We're now floating over $2000 on a ten-year-old car that we would not have chosen to fix otherwise, not to mention the ridiculous ordeal it's been trying to get these people to communicate with us honestly and follow through. This has now been going on for three months. Take your business elsewhere.

Unfortunately not very helpful! I had a birthday coupon for a $5 voucher, and the register would not let me use it on a product that was $9.99. None of the people who worked there could be bothered to do something about it. Makes me want to go somewhere else!

I'd like to give this place -5 stars, trust me there's better options than O'Reilly auto parts. I bought a new car battery from them they couldn't get my cables off my old one. Charged me twice for core charge and I ended up still taking it with me. When I finally decided to call triple A they get it off no problem better rate and quality of work/ battery. Then when I go to return the battery, the same day, I have the same guy David that told me to bring a receipt from triple A verifying my purchase which I did and get accused of installing the battery which voids the return. Which had me thinking the battery they sold new to me was used. The place is a SCAM and the level of incompetence in that place is RICH. With all the options out there, YOU CAN DO BETTER!

Hi! Just want to give a huge neighborly shout out to O’Reilly Auto Parts in San Marcos. I have been going to them for years and their customer service has always been outstanding. I had car battery issues over the weekend. New battery purchased and installed…no extra charge. Julie was the employee who helped me and I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. The best.
