Marie refinished an antique table that I purchased at an estate sale. The table was in bad condition and Marie did an amazing job fixing it and refinishing. My husband and I are in love our table and can’t wait to have the chairs renished and reupholstered by Marie. I highly recommend Marie with MC Modern Mid Century Furniture Restoration in San Marcos. She actually called me on her day off and gave me three ideas to help fix my dining room table. She recommended a product on line and also using a mineral solvent based with oil. If I tried all three ideas and nothing worked, she told me how much it would cost to refinish my table. Marie did a superb job repairing a broken arm on our dining room chair. The wooden arm had broken apart and, following Marie’s mending effort, it looks like new. She was a pleasure to work with and will definitely be handling any future furniture repairs we might need.

I hired Marie to reupholster and refinish several pieces of furniture in a three bedroom villa at a local resort in Carlsbad. What I didn't realize at the time, was that I was hiring a life saver who handled the entire installation without me being there, from start to finish. Reluctantly, I couldn't be present for the installation due to an injury and Marie saved the day. She wore many hats and did things far outside of her job description. Her can-do attitude, resourcefulness and amazing talent set her apart from the rest. Her ability to refinish furniture is a gift as the pieces look brand new! I am thrilled, my clients are thrilled and the furniture is gorgeous! I can't thank her enough!

Marie did a wonderful job restoring our 20+ year old Eames Leather Sofa. She went above and beyond. She is honest and transparent about cost and the amount of time and work required. Marie did a very professional job and accomplished it in a fairly short time for the amount of detail. The furniture I had refinished was my parents from the mid-1960s and it looks brand new again!
