Paid $3.95 per gallon plus a hazardous material charge of $5.53. Making a gallon of propane $4.74 per gallon. When I called to ask how much propane was a gallon they never mentioned a hazardous waste charge. In fact they never mentioned a hazardous waste charge at all until after my tank was filled and they asked me to pay. Nice!!

I am their customer for 30 years, I am requesting for last 6 months for helium and everytime they says we are short supply and we do not have it, and says try next month, Today Noel ( Manager) says it's corporate decision not to sell helium to florist.

Easy quick and fair. I use Matheson for all my welding and gas needs. Super friendly and they don’t gouge the small guys like the other companies do. Keep up the good work guys

Bottom line, I got sticker shock today when I found out their propane price is not $3.35 a gallon but 3:35 a gallon plus 20% hazardous waste fee which makes it $3.90 a gallon. This is a hazardous waste fee surcharge you are not made aware of until they have filled their product into your devices. No warning whatsoever. It's bad enough getting service from the guy that acts like he's management. The younger guy wants to help. And it took two years to hire the younger dude, get help.

My new go to for CO2. Everywhere wants to sell food grade CO2 and I just need it to fill up tires. Had me in and out the door in less than 5 minutes. No hassle or fuss. Price was on point. I'll be back for sure.

I go to Matheson for my welding gases, argon, CO2, oxygen, acetylene, helium, etc. They are really friendly and their gas and new cylinder prices are far better than all of their competitors. I haven't set foot back into an an Airgas or Praxair since I found Matheson gas and I don't intend to. If you ask, and sometimes if you don't, they price match some competitors, which is nice because every dollar counts these days.FYI Matheson is an industrial gas and welding supplier for hobbyist welders and industry professionals, not really for paintballers, although I noticed the staff is welcoming and friendly to anyone with a bottle to fill.I recommend Matheson ?

Been going to Matheson for a short period of time,,, but it didnt take me long to come across a couple time with this guy that gives the worse customer service ,,i truly dont undestand what the hell hes doing there !!! Hey buster if you have an attide leave it a t home!! dont bring this to work ,im sure you boss does not appreciate you being an complete A** specially with ladies ,,unless you're the owner of this joint ,which makes matters worse Never going back ,thank you !! Dont waste your time go somewhere else !!

Been going here for 5 years now for co2, and EVERY time it seems like they're inconvenienced with filling the tank. Today was the last time I deal with their bad attitude from customer service.

Why is getting propane treated like an inconvenience for THEM? Not customer's fault they can't keep or hire needed help STILL. Escondido company cheaper after the 10% haz waste fee only Matheson charges, but sometimes I don't have time to go there.

I needed to refill our propane bbq tank and this was recommended. I usually leave this task to my husband but I braved it and thankful I did. Staff was very friendly, it was super quick process and such a better price than the usual trade in.

Convenient place to refill your propane BBQ tanks. Much faster service than other places that cater to commercial customers. Also the prices are the best around town (at least $10 less than a Home Depot/Lowes/etc exchange price)! This is my go-to place in the San Marcos area.
