In a bit of an emergency I had to find a place to shop for boys and their father who are under a particular situation.
I found Marshalls and it was a great spot with Ross a door down. I was able to find a good amount of clothes and shoes for the fraction of the price. So much so, I told others about their awesome deals.
Keep in mind I’m very much so broke and struggling. I was lead to be of service to others even though I didn’t have much and was questioning if I could help with my own financial very short comings.
Once again I was lead to help this family in much need. It feels good to help, and to be of service. They wear their clothes every chance they get, knowing they look good, smell good, feel good, even if it’s not 100%. They’re good.
If you can help people do it. My cashier was nice too and funny. Bless her heart.

The last 3 times I've been there, I had to leave before buying anything due to the line being dramatic longer than my patients.

The selection at this store is better than most, especially in terms of department store/premium brands and beauty products. The problem is that it is almost never properly staffed at checkout. It’s currently 1/31/24 at 2:30 in the afternoon and the line to pay is 20+ minutes long. No running in on your lunch break because the line is snaked all the way back to the baby clothes. They have 7 registers but only 3 open despite the line. Incredibly frustrating. They’re losing sales as I’ve seen multiple people give up and abandon their carts.

Visited this store on a Saturday with my mother who was visiting from out of town. The store seems clean and organized, but the checkout experience was a bit annoying. After waiting in quite a long line, my mom wanted to use her Marshalls credit card to check out but didn’t have it with her. She had the number pulled up on her app and the woman checking us out was trying to type it into the keypad but kept messing it up. My mom asked if she could type it in but the cashier said she had to do it. After another few failed attempts, my mom tried to nicely say “oh I think there is an extra number in there” but she wasn’t acknowledging my mom. Finally she typed the card number in right, but then typed the expiration date in wrong and it declined. According to my mom, it looked like she was struggling with her finger nails hitting other numbers. So eventually my mom just said she would use a different card so we could leave. She was disappointed in not getting the rewards from using her Marshall’s card but didn’t want to cause a scene. Didn’t seem like the cashier cared one way or the other.

Marshalls is a treasure trove of finds ?, but stepping inside feels like entering a bustling marketplace ?️. Racks of clothing and shelves of goods stretch out in a seemingly endless maze . The atmosphere is one of discovery and deal-hunting, with the thrill of the find in the air ?. However, the cluttered and sometimes chaotic environment can feel overwhelming, lacking the polished charm of a boutique ?.
