This isn't a simple delay. Jeromes has had our money for five months with no known date for delivery of our couches. Jeromes has also not offered any resolution to this problem. Our contract clearly states delivery within approximately 8 weeks. Clearly Jeromes has acted in bad faith

I guess I should have come here to read the reviews before purchasing at Jerome's. We purchased a mattress that we were told was the best, I explained to the sales person what we needed and he said this was the best mattress we could get, that the way it was made, and it didn't use glue, etc. he also said it was so popular they couldn't keep it in stock. This mattress cost us over $3,000 and it was more than I expected but I thought if it is so great it must be worth it. Well, it is the worst mattress we have ever had and after explaining all the difficulties we've had with the mattress Jerome's said we could exchange it for one of the same price or one more expensive (us of course paying the difference), but that the fee we would have to pay for doing this is $815 plus delivery fee in the $300s. So not only is this mattress horrible, we now need to pay Jerome's over $1,000 more to exchange it. Go buy your mattress somewhere else, there are other companies that stand by their products and allow the exchange without exaggerated fees. UPDATE I changed my review from 1 to 4 stars because we went to Jerome's and we were helped by Kobe and Amber helped us. They were friendly, listened to our concerns and found a solution to our problem. We still had to pay a fee but I feel like it was a far better solution than what we were offered before. They really worked hard to make things right under the circumstances. They provided excellent customer service.

Never buy from here. I've purchased here twice and each time is nothing but problems. The major fact being they will not take anything back and if you're lucky, you might get store credit. Additionally, some incompetent sales guy sold us a bedroom set completely knowing the fact that we purchased a deep pocket mattress that would have never fitted that particular bed. He was told up front, but none-the-less sold us this set that we are stuck with. We were offered store credit, but why on earth would we want to deal with this company again. Additionally, the mattress was purchased from a different store, so that was an additional problem. A couple of the individuals did try their best (from what they said) with Jerome's management, but screw the customer/keep the money seems to be Jerome's philosophy.

I purchased an adjustable bed, which stopped working, and after 1 month I am still waiting to have it fixed. They outsource the warranty and customer service is almost non existent.

Haven't heard from anybody so I decided to stop by on my way home today. Here's a screenshot of what the voicemail said. First off, I want to let you know that I paid you guys directly to get this professionally installed to avoid any sort of installation/warranty errors. My wife was present and she saw your installers tear everything off.I will be putting a pause on the $8000 credit card and filing a fraud claim.

All right, here we go..... Went to Jerome's found a beautiful reclining sectional sofas. I loved the style, custom fabric that was just top-of-the-line( chefs kiss): kid resistant, dog resistant, easy to clean and the hubby liked it. I'm sold let's go ahead and get this transaction moving. Carrie was the sales guy that helped us. He was super kind and very patient. It is a custom order so it's going to take about 8 to 10 weeks( I was later informed that it was 10 to 12 weeks), which I was fine with. They said it's looking like early February for the sofas to be done, it's December, no biggie we can make this work. Father Time came and went, now we are mid January, I get a text message from Jerome, unfortunately the sofas got delayed and it's going to be mid February. What's two more weeks, honestly I've been waiting this whole time. No big deal. It's the beginning of February It's about that time to get my current dusty sofas out and get ready for reclining comfort( awww I can feel them now). Out with the old and in with the new..... Jerome reaches out again, you're not gonna believe it but the time frame gets pushed yet again. (I'm envisioning this man just working tirelessly to get these custom orders in and out.) February is a short month, sures it's a leap year but what's another week and half. My old Sofas are gone. My family and I are embracing the open living room making the best of it. Now it's Monday, 25th of February. I should receive phone call anyday now to get delivery on the books....( cricket, cricket) No phone calls, no text message.... I feel like Jerome is ghosting me. It's that time where I need to start reaching out to figure out what's going on. They're still telling me the end of February but it's the 26th and if my math serves me right it is three more days until the end of February and I continue to be fed a very vague end of February timeline.... I decide to call again towards the "end" of February. I accidentally call the Murrieta branch of Jerome's furniture, and they informed me that their systems is showing March, which is shocking news to me. They kindly connect me with the San Marcos branch and they inform me the beginning to mid March is correct. (Gasp!) It is March 7 in the day of our lord and I still don't have a delivery date. No clue about my sofas. At this point, I am not sure if I got scammed or these are just gonna be the best couches I've ever had. These couches are probably so well done. They're gonna last for generations to come..... I will say during this process, the only thing that they compensated was delivery (per the website this is no special treatment. They do that anytime it goes past three weeks) and upgraded to a white glove delivery. I honestly don't care about compensation, sure it helps and it would be nice but honestly I just want my sofas. To anyone who read this far thanks for listening to my first world problems. And to Jerome's furniture I HOPE YOU HEAR ME.... Update sofas got pushed to end of March The store manager was able to provide us with loan and credited the account ... As far as the tracking goes. The link sent from Jerome's gives me an error through FedEx website stating the that the tracking number is invalid. Calling the store office they can't look see where it's coming from.

Thomas was an excellent salesman...he answered our questions and let us wander on our own. Jerome's has a very good selection and much better prices than most of the other furniture stores. We ended up buying one of their higher end sets because it was so comfortable and great quality.

We love Jerome's as we did not feel any pressure from anyone to make a purchase. When we finally decided on what we wanted, Oscar was very professional and helpful to help us finish the sales. The associates were knowledgeable.

Beyond exceptional service! Erik was our sales person, we were looking at sectional couches, he was very knowledgeable about all the products, took his time to answer all our questions, he even let us rearrange furniture in the showroom so we were completely sure about our purchase and how the couch would fit in our living room. Jerome’s warehouse is in Rancho Bernardo, you can schedule a pickup or they can deliver with many options. We were able to pick up our couch the next day. Highly recommend Jerome’s in San Marcos, service is outstanding and they have the best selection of couches with reasonable pricing and options.

Kerry greeted us and offered assistance so kindly. We said we were looking for dining benches. He led us to the dining area and showed us a few and said to enjoy and he’ll check back. We found the perfect one. He explained the process. Escorted us to the desk. Made the transaction. He then showed us which warehouse to pick the bench up the next day. Stayed with us to set appointment with another employee. Everything completed in 10-12 minutes! Kerry was amazingly helpful! Thank you Kerry!!

I went into the store for the second time while on a new couch journey. I wish the floor associate made it seam a little more personal. It was a difficult decision and the money was an issue as well. He could have asked a few inviting questions or questions that help my needs. Like what caught my eye about the one I was looking at first or asked about the place it will be fitting into. He had a lot of positive things to say about it in comparison to others but that strikes me as a sales tactic. He only seemed to care about getting the sale to me.Even though I decided on a couch and bought on from Jerome’s. It was a really uncomfortable process here.

What a pleasant experience. Helpful, not pushy salespersons. That alone was a plus. Then, despite the storefront being relatively unassuming, the massive interior housing a huge selection of quality furniture made our lives easy. This was a one-stop shopping excursion for us. And the pricing was very fair.

We returned to the San Marcos Jeromes because of are previous experience. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by Thomas who answered every question we asked and we asked many. We purchased a power loveseat with all the bells and whistles. At no time did we feel pressured to buy. Thomas and the youngman who handled the process for the delivery were very helpful ? ? my husband has cancer and through this process they both made sure he was comfortable while we finished the transaction. We will be back to Jeromes for all of are furniture needs. Thank you Thomas ?
