I love the workouts because they are led by skilled and motivational trainers. Each workout has a clear structure that allows you to maximize your output from each session. This entails a precise demonstration, timed workstations and rest periods with of course group warm ups and stretches. Furthermore the whole gym has a friendly environment and sets the platform for you to better yourself.

Every day and every week the workouts are different which allow for both muscle growth and also mental. The trainers are encouraging, supportive and enthusiastic.

Long overdue review, been a happy member since Feb 2022 (Deezam, I didn't know I've been a member for that long till I just looked it up. That's longer than some of my past relationships, tbh). Anyway, all the trainers are personable and experts at what they do. Each one has a unique skill (like MMA, running) or knowledge (positive habits/food system) that can help you depending on personal goals. The classes have good vibes and fun music. The workouts themselves are tougher than old beef jerky, but every level of fitness can do it. From beginner to expert, the workouts are all doable and work all parts of your body and motion. If you want to work on your strength, body, chest, or badunkadunk, these guys got you covered like a blanket. You become friends with the people you see there on a regular. You become friends with the trainers. I love how some of the trainers speak motivational words and life philosophies during the classes. I'm like, heck yeah, add extra 10-pounds on my bar, coach, Im feeling hyped. They always get me going like Popeye and spinach. Big difference between going to these classes versus going to a gym and working out on your own regime/routine. No comparison with how much you accomplish and gain with their structured classes. The feeling/energy I get and the improvements in my strength, body, and range of motion are what I noticed significantly since I signed up here. I was a member at LA Fitness before. I went to the classes at LA Fitness. No comparison between the classes here. This is a monthly investment that will always be part of my budget. You know what they say, the best investment we can make is to ourselves. It's like having fitness coaches on your team so you can be the best version of yourself. We should be kicking ass in life, in our work/business, in all aspects. Kicking ass in our health, fitness, and mindset is the foundation to everything. Dont do it on your own or just wing it. Be part of an active gym club. Collaboration is key to our success.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Hardcore Fitness and their staff/trainers. I was in the San Marcos area for PT school and wanted a gym that the workouts were already set up and I just had to show up and do the workouts. First off, the trainers and all extremely knowledgeable. In my opinion one of the hardest things about exercise is being able to modify it for different skill levels. All of the trainers had no issues doing this. Secondly, being able to cue people to do the exercise correctly is a struggle and they never had an issue with that. Lastly, the exercises never felt boring. They always were mixing things up and keeping it fun. If you are reading this and want a fun environment to workout in, I say give it a try. You might hate it but I'm willing to bet you're going to love it. The class times are flexible and you're always going to finish the workout feeling accomplished. To the Hardcore Staff, thank you for everything. Sorry I never got that 1 on 1 training session in Patrick, school and life got super nuts towards the end. I appreciate everyone of you guys. All the best

Fair warning, this is going to be a lengthy but honest post. Earlier this year I wanted to make a lifestyle change which included enrolling in a "fancier" gym (I realized that I couldn't hold myself accountable by having a regular gym membership anymore). I started getting ads through my IG and came across HCF in SM. I compiled a list of local gyms and decided to give HCF a chance since they had really good reviews. I was initially really excited and motivated to enroll regardless of how much more expensive it was going to be. I sent an initial interest message via their website and waited until someone reached out to me. We scheduled an in person visit and when I arrived to the gym I met Nikko. Super nice guy, he gave me a tour, the gym looked fabulous from the outside. Then I sat down with Crissy, their intake person, and this is where it all went wrong. First red flag. When I met with Crissy she basically just began selling me HCF and the importance of making lifestyle changes and so forth. I just smiled and listened to what she had to say. I answered her questions honestly and was ready to enroll in the gym until she mentioned the 1 year commitment that they require. Now, personally I just wanted to try the gym out first so I wasn't looking for a commitment just yet- I hadn't even attended a class and this individual was already hounding me on how life changing HCF would be and that the 1 year commitment was crucial for this to happen. I respectfully ask if they have any alternate plans and she carefully mentions that they have a 6 month contract but that they "don't really offer those." The conversation continues with her interviewing me, unsure why I was so hesitant about a 1 year commitment. Second red flag. At this point, I'm very annoyed, but still willing to give this place a shot. We end the conversation with me agreeing to 2 weeks of "trying" the gym, and that after those 2 weeks, I would have to check back in with her to finalize the contract. She then proceeds by sending me a text message, asks me to read the number she sent me, gives me a tote bag with "merch", and walks me out. Honestly, I left feeling very uncomfortable from that meeting. When I arrive home, I decide to review the email I received after the meeting. Third and Last red flag. I open the email and realize that Crissy tricked me into signing a year contract that would start THAT SAME DAY. It was a contract with an "Electronic Typed SMS Validated Signature." The contract also mentioned that I would only have to the 5th business day to cancel the agreement. I immediately call HCF- no answer. I email them and write very clearly that I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN A 12 year contract and that I wanted the "contract" to be made invalid. Crissy later responds via text telling me that she received my email and that we can touch base again in a few weeks. At this point, I was planning to cut all ties with HCF. At least until Crissy texts me back weeks later and tells me that "my payment was scheduled to process the next day." I immediately remind her that I cancelled my "membership" weeks prior, to which she responds "I did not get any notification you wanting to cancel your membership with us." I respond with screen shots of the email I sent her, cancelling the "membership" that I was TRICKED into signing that same day! I was livid. The rest of the conversation made me feel very uncomfortable. Sorry for the long post, but key takeaways:1) HCF- Be honest. Don't bamboozle interested clients and trick them into signing up for 2 "free" weeks when in reality they'll be singing a 1 year contract that only offers 5 DAYS to cancel.2) HCF- Work on your recruitment strategies. Don't gaslight, pressure or manipulate clients into enrolling at your gym in order to reach those "lifestyle changes". 3) HCF- DO BETTER. I am embarrassed to share this experience and hope that it saves others from unknowingly enrolling

Well... that didn't go quite how I imagined.I read the reviews here and figured I would give it a shot. I have been going to another local class based gym for a year and wasn't seeing the results I would like so I was out checking out my options. I came in to check the gym out and met Nikko. He was very nice and talked me through the gym. The whole presentation was an hour and I didn't work out which was a little out of the norm for me but since the reviews are so good I asked if I could come back in the morning and try out a class. One of the biggest things I emphasized was the community feel. I don't need someone to hold my hand but I also don't want to work out with a bunch of grunting douches who stare at themselves awkwardly the whole time or a bunch of caddy clicks.I got to the class and stood toward the back of the class because it wasn't real clear where I was supposed to be. The instructor eventually came up and introduced herself and then put me at a spot to do the rotation. She told me she was partnering me with 2 women who had been there to help me keep up with the class. The 2 women wouldn't even look in my general direction. Luckily there was a very sweet gentlemen who kinda helped nudge me through the class as the instructor came by maybe 1 time for about 3 seconds. We got down to the last 15 mins of the class and our station was overloaded there wasn't really a "spot" for me so I was supposed to work in with the other women. After not even breathing in my general direction they made it very clear working in with them wasn't an option so I just grabbed my stuff and left. I was over it at that point. Like I said I am not looking for someone to hold my hand but don't be a jerk.My advice to the business: 1 - make sure the people you are paring a new person with is actually willing to help them and not be a jerk.2 - have the instructor check on them a couple times and make sure they know where they are supposed to be and what they are doingAfter texting me about 30 times to come in and check it out they didn't text me until the following day to find out if I wanted to join. I wrote back and let them know I was good and received no response no nothing. Maybe ask customers for feedback or acknowledge their text... good way to learn about where you are missing the mark. Ultimately I did find the right place for me and I know someone else who went to Hardcore and had a very different experience. Maybe it was an off day...
