Ran the row of furniture stores. Saw the particleboard, kit dinning room sets. We then remembered a little store Rustic Home. Took a chance and our life was changed. So many possibilities. Such great quality. The lost art of customer service and one word, Ash!
He asked what we were looking for, he listened, he showed, he discussed, and he offered to make us what we needed. Make us what we needed in less time than the other stores that we would have had to settle. On arrival, words can’t say how great it is. The detail in the dinning table, chairs, and storage cabinet is amazing. The color is perfect and what a finish.
The experience from start to finish was a pleasure and a friendship has been formed.

“Out with the old, in with the new. The wife had had enough of the trundle bed in our spare room, being a pain the a** to to set up for guests and taking up way too much floor space. Grant it, it was in good shape, comfortable and we never received any complaints; but it was time to go. She wanted to replace it with a Murphy bed. Walked in and was surprised how well stocked the floor was. Our first choice we were honestly told we would be unable to acquire until around June (4 months away). Our second choice could be delivered within 10 days. It was pricier, but more beefy; so it was a good thing we opted for the second choice. The employee (owner?), Jeff, was helpful, but not overbearing as some sales folk can be. The Murphy bed arrived within the time frame noted, in excellent condition and was quickly assembled by the delivery personnel. The two gentlemen gave us a refresher on how to open and close it up. If I have any real complaint it would be that it cost us an additional $200 to have it delivered. OUCH! We were told that local, in-county, was $150. I guess with the price of gasoline pushing $5 a gallon in our State, along with the high inflation kicking us all in the balls, it is what it is. If looking for a Murphy bed check this place out. They also had quite the assortment for smaller dining room and kitchenette sets, for those having smaller homes, apartments or condos.”

“This is an update to a review that I wrote a few months ago which I gave a 5 star rating due to the great customer service and the nice selection of furniture at the San Marcos store.
The update is a 4 star only because of the quality of the Pacifica dinning table. After my furniture was delivered there were some defects and the San Marcus store customer service was great with trying to making it right. Then when the new furniture was switched out the dinning table was still defected, so they delivered another one and that one was also defected. So the driver picked up the floor sample from the San Marcos store and delivered it. I should have know from all the defects with this table that we would have trouble with it. The floor sample table was delivered on January 12th and to date this table scratches so easily (see photos). We have not even used it that much due to it being covered because of all the rainy weather. I do not recommend buying this table, it is from the Pacifica dinning group, although the chairs are super comfortable. Rosemarie from San Marcos store has given us great customer service. I recommend buying from this store, but not the Pacifica dinning table. Thank you to Rosemarie and the driver who drove back and forth for the great customer service and trying to make it right.”

“This review is specifically for Bernardo. We looked around at several stores and while all had great salesmen and women, and we were pleased with each one, Bernardo stood out for sure! He was very pleasant and you could tell he not just wanted to sell you a spa, but he actually wanted you to find the right one. Once again Nicole came to the house, brought out a color sample of the wood, she measured out the size of the bed with night stands to give me a good idea what it would look like in the room. Shopped for my son’s new mattress today and I was so pleased with the excellent service we received.
Robert treated us like VIP’s and had my son try out several different beds to find the perfect option for him.
I had bought a mattress from Wayfair that had claimed to be super lush and soft, ended up returning because of how uncomfortable and firm it was.
It’s tough to buy something like a mattress online because you can’t actually try them before buying.
Figured we would go to mattress firm to try the beds first. I’m so glad we did because we found a mattress that was on sale
And only 200.00 more than our initial purchase.
It’s nice to talk to professionals that ask the right questions and sell you something thats within your price range and meets all of your requirements.
Nothing but excellent service from all the staff at this store.
