I'm not sure if women working at San Marcos DMV window #30/ test counter like their job at all. Very unprofessional. Make you feel like you're asking for a favor to do what they get paid for. The rest of staff was very helpful btw

Guy at window #10 today was awesome! Professional, personable, attentive, and knowledgable. Previously, however, I tried for days using the online option for my transaction. I followed all instructions given. Sadly, whoever was processing my online transaction lacked the intelligence or critical thinking skills necessary to complete my paperwork. That being said, I opted to just do a walk-in today and I am glad I did. Easy and done. Thank you, Mr. Window #10!

Well let me tell you the experience that many of the Hispanics have here. And I am talking about racism. Is a fact that so many people I know especially Hispanic. they rather go to Poway or Oceanside. Because of the racism here. But I am happy that many of the same people that complain about this DMV choose to go somewhere else. and now they are driving. I will have to say that whatever San Marcos is doing to keep Hispanics from driving is not totally working. lol

If I can express how much I hate Miles, your DMV virtual assistant , he’s so incompetent. Please delete him from this earth and stop hanging up on phone calls! do better DMV. Literally hate this customer service

Very busy. I decided to use the self check kiosk. It had a line but it moved quite quickly. Got in and out under 15 minutes

The person who worked at the "start here" window was condescending and snippy. However the wait was not long at all and the 2 workers who helped us were knowledgeable, personable, professional, and helpful.

I've been to different DMV offices and this DMV in San Marcos is the most nicest staff I've ever encountered. I was in line on window 1 for non-appointment and I forgot to ask/did not notice the name of the employee who helped me with my problem. He went beyond his duty to help me. He is not only very helpful but professional as well. The other employee that I want to commend is Marie on window 6. She and the employee on window 1 for non-appointment are both very helpful and accommodating to customers. Thank you both very much!

Wasn't that bad. Obviously a long wait, but the text service helps not to feel pinned down in the waiting area.
