The absolute slowest and inefficient pharmacy in all of San Diego. There really is no excuse for this.

Pharmacy staff should learn how to tell time and adhere to the posted signs that indicate the hours for lunch: 1:30-2:00. Today they all returned at 2:06 and then had to log in, get stations ready and then they started waiting on customers. This is not the first rime for this type of occurrence I experienced. Also the stacks of “things” behind the pharmacy counters does not provide positive image of confidence that my prescription will be filled lawfully. And for goodness sake - clean the place throughly on a daily basis.

DEAR CVS PHARMACY MANAGER JEFF
Your behavior this morning towards me was atrocious. Why would you treat me this way after I've been coming here for so long?
But its not your mishandling of my prescription that upsets me the most : it was your cruelty.
I don't appreciate you screaming so everyone could hear what type of medication I am taking. That embarrassed me the most. You violated my privacy in that moment. You violated my Protected Health Information.
You screamed at me in front of your two male staff- shooed your hand at me to go away ,and lied to me about your record keeping.
You made everyone around us feel uncomfortable by your aggressive behavior; your staff, myself, and the customers behind me.
I have been filling my prescriptions here for 4 years, month after month, and I don't appreciate the way you embaressed and spoke to me in front of your staff and other customers.
So you over-rode a prescription for me last month but so you wouldn't have to do it this month, *you changed my Pickup Date. THAT MANIPULATES the system, your customers, and my health.
You and I both know the truth, your record keeping is false. Your own records, my reciepts from your store - prove that.
Nevertheless, I encourage you to speak with reoccurring clients with more respect and patience. We are your customers. We are not your enemy.

Terrible experience twice in a row now. Only 1 employee visible in the entire store at evening rush hour--not even at check out but at photo with back turned to customers. Couldn't get one critical item as it's locked up (a cuticle trimmer for a split nail). Massive line and no help. Left. Back to purchase on Amazon.

Horrible. App says my Rx is ready. Never is. I go in to get my Rx and it’s basically starting from scratch with refill and have to wait 10-15 minutes. Can’t seem to get my insulin prescription correct or filled in a timely manner so I started getting that from a Walgreens in vista. Looks like I have to start driving to vista for all my prescription now because I won’t trust another cvs to fill my prescriptions. That and always an 8 foot receipt for 1 item. Adios CVS. I won’t miss ye.

Cecilia, the manager on duty, is absolutely the most unhelpful employee. I am a rewards member and clipped a coupon for $4 off Cerave facial products. She would not apply the coupon, told me she would not give the discount nor a gift card in the amount and "it isn't going to happen today." After keeping me there for over 15 minutes, and also helping other customers (keeping me waiting), she made me walk to the section, in the facial wash area, to show me it was a body wash. No where in the product did it say body wash, nor was it in the body wash section. Normally, a face wash in the face wash section = face wash. But not for Cecelia, who would rather argue with a customer and lose the $50 sale to prove her point. This manager should not be in a management position. This entire process took over 25 minutes of my time.

The pharmacy is terrible. Ricardo is rude, curt, and unprofessional. I just went through a major surgery and he lectured me about a pain medication being addictive. Like other reviewers have wrote, they said my prescription wasn’t covered by insurance, but I have excellent insurance, and all my other prescriptions of this medicine have been covered. They do not know what they are doing, and there is always a long line. You have to wait on hold for a very long time to reach anyone. I used to live in Vista and they would pick up the phone in 30 seconds, this place picks up their phone 10 minutes later if you’re lucky. And on another prescription I had they said there was no refills, but the bottle clearly said 2 refills. CVS online said there were 2 refills, but they kept saying they need a doctor approval. They are just plain incompetent!

Discrepancy in Pricing: Coricidin HBP Maximum Strength Cold and Flu Day and Night at CVS Pharmacies in San Marcos and EscondidoI recently had an experience at two different CVS pharmacy locations in San Marcos and Escondido while trying to purchase Coricidin HBP Maximum Strength Cold and Flu Day and Night medication. To my surprise, there was a significant price difference between the two stores. Not only was I disappointed by the price variation, but I also encountered difficulties when attempting to have the price matched. At the CVS pharmacy in San Marcos, the Coricidin HBP Maximum Strength Cold and Flu Day and Night package was priced at $16.49. However, when I visited the CVS pharmacy in Escondido, I discovered that the same product was listed at a lower price of $11.79. The price difference of $4.70 seemed substantial to me, especially considering that both stores are part of the same retail chain.Seeking a fair resolution, I approached an employee at the San Marcos location and requested a price match. Unfortunately, the employee informed me that the store would no longer honor price match requests. According to her, the decision originated from the store manager. As a customer, this was disheartening news, as price matching is a common practice in many retail establishments and is often seen as a way to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. It is crucial for CVS to ensure that pricing is consistent across all its store locations. Customers should be able to rely on the fact that they will be charged a fair and competitive price regardless of which store they visit.CVS should reconsider its decision to discontinue price matching. Restoring this policy would not only help retain and attract customers but also demonstrate a commitment to customer satisfaction.

This is the only CVS I have seen that gets a long line and needs 2 cashiers in addition to self checkout. Always a little chaotic here. Went to make a deposit as sadly this is my bank (Capital One). The cashier could not count money if her life depended on it. I counted it while sitting at a red light before coming here, and about 10x faster than her. I don't know how that's possible. She also complained that the bills weren't facing the same direction, like who cares?

Went to the valley park location inside schnucks for a flu shot and was treated very rudely. I asked for a covid shot at the same time and again got a rude answer.
