The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of at a bank! They wouldn't let me deposit cash into someone else's account! I was going to loan an out of town friend some money. Chase said I couldn't deposit since I was not on their account. I would understand if I was trying to take money out! Will never use that bank.

After having a terrible experience with another Chase bank this morning. I decided to give Chase another try at another bank. Wow! Was I wrong for doing that. Once again, no one would help me open an account with them. What is wrong with Chase? I decided to take my business to Bank Of America where they immediately helped me.

Every single one of their ATMs was down inside and outside but no one said a thing nor attempted to fix it. You would only find out by getting your card stuck while watching the "loading" sign.

This is a comment on JP Morgan not Chase Bank. I am pleased with Chase and the interaction I've had with their people. Chase Bank has my checking and savings accounts. I have a Chase VISA but less than a year ago, I brought my retirement money to JP Morgan as Chase offered to refinance my home with a low interest rate if I brought my retirement $ to Morgan. I did and Chase (my local Solana Beach branch) gave me an awesome refinance interest rate. I wish I could have the same positive feelings and experiences with JP Morgan. I can handle some losses but losing nearly 19% of retirement was waaaaay too much. So about 4 weeks ago, (early July 2022), I moved my money to cash (for now) and away from JP Morgan's management. From Jan 2022 to July 2022, my retirement funds with JP Morgan lost nearly 19% in value. I knew 2022 would be a tough one but to lose nearly 19% of retirement was not going unnoticed and I told Catherine Pietro (the local JP Morgan Financial Agent). She parroted the party line and smiled, and told me all is well. Lesson Learned. Your savings/investments are hard-earned. Be very careful if you allow someone else manage it. I wish I could recommend JP Morgan, but they are heartless and I should have taken my money elsewhere. The "great" interest rate was not worth it. My bad.

Worst customer service ever. I was trying to pull a large some of money out of my account today and to do so I have to call and make sure they have that money to give to me when I arrive. It was already 3:30pm so I was trying to get ahold of a bank before they close at 5:00pm. I called multiple chase banks and only one answered. They asked me how much money I needed to take out and if I would be coming in the same day. This chase bank let me know that they may or may not have the funds to which they put me on a brief hold and got back to me letting me know they did. I let them know that I wanted to try calling the chase near me to see if maybe they would answer. The chase that did answer was way out of my way and there was no point driving to that chase if I could pull out money at the chase right next to my house. After calling the chase near me 8 times they finally answered at 4:07pm. When I answered all I got was a hello but no, "what can I do for you today" no, "what do you need help with" just hello. I then asked the operator about withdrawing the money from my account which she proceeds to tell me that thats not possible and that I have to call a day ahead if I want to pull out money like that. To which I tell her how I just called another chase and they said they could pull out the money for me. She never said she was going to check to see if she had the funds or even suggest that I request the funds for a different day. All she did was ask was ask me how much I'm pulling out, which is weird if they didn't have the funds to give me like she said, and tell me how she can't pull out those types of funds when I call the day of. To top it all off she talked to me as if I was a bother to her and annoying her by me asking her to do something that is, in the simplest terms, her job. I was respectful up until the moment where she told me, "If you are trying to pull money out like that the same day, you're supposed to call a day before so that we can have the money." Like I'm supposed to know or like if I was unconvincing her calling and asking something so obvious. To which I respond with, " that's funny because I just called a place and they said that they could pull out the money the same day". To which she told me, " well if the other bank has it there maybe you should go to them instead". Maybe chase shouldn't just assume that I have the luxury to drive how ever far just to pull out money, maybe Chase should of checked to see if they had the funds before telling me that I am supposed to call a day ahead so that my funds are there the next day, maybe they should of suggested for me to ask for the funds today so I could withdraw it tomorrow, or maybe, just maybe, chase should treat their customers with respect and not like they are just the bags of money in their bank. I, nor any other customer deserves to be talked to so disrespectfully for simply asking a question. Work on your customer service. Because I am a customer and I definitely don't fell like I was served in any way. I much rather give my business to a bank that understand that. Anyone who wants to be treated like a customer asking a question and not a nuance, I would highly suggest you don't go to this bank.

I just visited our local Chase Bank in Twin Oaks, San Marcos by the Ralphs pharmacy to open up a savings account for our minor son. The bank representative name Maria R. was so helpful, and answered all of my questions. Thank you Maria for an exceptional service, and for taking care of our family's banking needs!:)

This is the worst bank! My Dad passed away and they refuse to accept me as the agent of the power of attorney for my Mom. I talked to my lawyer and the documents are set up correctly. I asked for a legal contact at Chase so we could figure out why the document is a problem for them. I have left repeated messages for Maria and she doesn't return my calls. I need to be able to help my Mom with bills because she has mild dementia. We are dealing with the death of my Dad and you would think chase would want to help us. Instead we are ignored. Please don't use this bank!

Do NOT use this bank. We ended up with Chase after WAMU closed and I believe others. We have supposedly been grandfathered in from all these consolidations. We (luckily) just purchased a second home using US Bank (will be our retirement home). We asked Chase about this as well as our rollover retirement 401k. Chase had no time for my husband. This week we found out that a bank account that a teller put in some "special account" because then we were special, now has a $25/mo fee if your money drops below a pretty sizeable amount. Enough to buy a nice car. So my husband spoke to branch manager. I am 100% sure they will not follow up with us. So once we do move and sell our house here we will NEVER use Chase again. NOTE USBank was falling all over themselves for our business. They not only financed our second home but also are now managing our portfolio. I do not want to put specifics but if either the Branch Manager at this branch or the dufus who had no time for my husband have HALF the money in their 401k I will eat my laptop. as they say on SNL "buh bye" as they said in Pretty Woman "mistake, BIG HUGE mistake" - and yes now I go to twitter to let your corporate PR Folks know "Big Mistake"

This location is closest to my residence and convenient. I went in couple weeks ago to inquire about opening a teen account linked to my account for my son. The teller told me to bring two forms of ID and it could be done in few minutes. Today, my son & I went in with his two forms of ID, checked in with teller and was asked to wait for next available banker. About 30 minutes later, we were assisted and taken into a cubicle by Maria. After sitting down and informing her why we had come, she asked what forms of ID we have and said we also need his SSN. That would have been nice to know beforehand. The teller I asked weeks ago just said bring two forms of ID, the teller I checked in with today did not mention anything at all and now after 40 minutes I am told they cannot help us without his social security number! What a waste of time, I wish the tellers were more informed and relayed information to customers and avoid wasting our time.

Back in the day, this was my go to bank to pull out money. The staff was always friendly and the place was never too crowded although their parking lot would make it seem otherwise. This originally was a Washington Mutual Branch with after 2008 was taken over by the FDIC. What a scam if you ask me... they had enough daily deposits vs. withdrawals to survive. Must have been a backdoor agreement between the FDIC and Chase, which we will never know until the confidential documents are released 50 years from now. Regardless, came in here recently, pulled out money and was on my way. Felt very nostalgic. I'll be back for sure when in the area.

The card reader to open the ATM wasn't working with my card, so as I leave to come back later when it the branch was open, I mention it to a girl headed in that direction. Not only does she ignore me, but it turns out she works there and didn't even offer to open the door for me! So rude.

Friendly staff. Took care of my special request without trouble. They took the time to ask if there was anything else they could do for me or my accounts. They were respectful of my time. No bank is perfect but this management team is trying hard. Staff are well trained.

10 minutes of waiting and was never addressed while one associate shopped on her computer in the Special Customer office. Come on people! Head over to the coast to see how you are supposed to do your job.

First of all, if I can give them no star, that will be my preference. Here is the story and experience with this Chase Bank: Deposit my money into wrong account (sub-account), then without my permission, they "help me" moved money to another (sub-)account. I believe it is a big flaw and an illegal practice. I don't believe any bank could do this to their customers

I needed to go in to close accounts and switch accounts due to a name change. Angela Reyes helped me from start to finish and she was amazing. She was patient and extremely helpful, even when I was frustrated from all the hassles of a name change. I really appreciate everything she did for me. It was so nice to have a smooth, easy visit during all the hassles of account changes. Thank you Angela!!
