I highly recommend Cal West Auto Center. I took my car in for a standard oil change and Drew and his team were able to figure out a different issue with my car that two shops prior could not fix.

This auto shop is very impressive and honest. I went there for an oil change and brake pads/sensors for my 2013 BMW X5. It so happens, I only need sensors, my pads were great and have plenty of wear in them. I appreciate their honesty! Definitely going back and will recommend.

Drew, Dillon, Aaron and his entire staff are just amazing individuals. Very knowledgeable of the work they do, I admire the fact that they show you what's going on and break it down to your understanding they get you the best quality of parts and price and just all and all kind hearted people, I trust in these guys to the fullest because to them it's not just a job it's a connection with everyone that walks through their door. Hands down the best auto shop North County can ever have. Thanks again gentlemen for everything these last couple days and all the hard work you do, I see how busy it gets there but you guys always pull through and get it done. Excellent team! CAL WEST AUTO CENTER ROCKS!

5 stars for a mechanic seems rigged right??? NO omg I have been to 7 mechanics over the last three years with my truck. I thought the last mechanic fixed the issue but they ended up putting bad parts on my truck and I had to go back to get it warranty out.. 2000 miles later the issue happened again so I decided to take it to Drew at Cal West Auto off recommendation of a good friend. So glad I did. He has fixed three of our trucks now! He is busy as hell and I know why. Hard to find a good mechanic nowadays.... It's even a cliché. But I promise you there's at least one shop left that is solid.. I am a woman, and I never once felt taken advantage of or lied to. I actually felt like I didn't pay enough. They went THAT far above and beyond with all three trucks! I live in San Diego and it's a 50 minute drive. Well worth it!!!

Friendly staff, very honest and knowledgeable. Dealer was suggesting maintenance totaling $1100... left Cal West with a bill totaling $249!!!

Great overall experience! I feel like it's always a little nerve-wracking when dealing with auto repairs but this was the best experience I've ever had. The team was friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. Pricing was very fair, and I would definitely go back for any future needs. Thanks!

Headlamp service. Many auto shops will not offer/bother with just this fix. Main headlight went dead, bad wiring/positioning. Drew's guy got it working while I waited and it has continued working--another well regarded mechanic's place could not. 20 USD to get legal.

I have had bad experiences in the past with trusting auto shops trying to price gouge me. I came to Cal West based on reviews and couldn't be happier. They are straightforward and honest on needed repairs and what ones you can wait on. I have had costs 50% cheaper than other places trying to take advantage of clients. The staff is friendly, trustworthy, respectful, and highly communicative. I will continue to only use Cal West Auto Center for all services

Best, most honest mechanics I've ever met. Background: Took my F-150 to Ford dealership due to noise in drive train. Ford dealer had my truck for TEN DAYS, and could neither diagnose or repair. But they had no problem charging me over $400 for their "efforts." Took it to Cal West on recommendation from my son-in-law. Drew and Aaron diagnosed the problem in one day. Called me and told me they could fix the problem, but they recommended that I take it it to another shop for the repair, because that shop was better equipped to fix my particular problem. And would probably save me money. I'm amazed at their commitment to doing the very best for their customers. What wonderful folks. So they won't be making this repair for me - but I'll be a Cal West customer for life!

Absolutely amazing place! I have a problem with my AC in my Ford and this guys fix it ,other issues I have they immediately reply immediately schedule an appointment but beside that I feel like they really care about their clients they really provide the best customer service and excellent repair job. They are very honest and friendly, impressive and excellent job! Thank you so much , will definitely recommend to all my friends and family!

I found Cal West from their great yelp reviews & after the service this week I feel compelled to add to the reviews. I walked in on a Monday without an appointment and the Cal West team found a way to squeeze in a diagnosis that day. By the end of the day I had the root cause identified and a repair quoted in a very transparent way. I was back on the road the next day which was a huge win given I didn't have an appointment when I dropped it off. Super friendly staff - excellent customer service. 5 stars.

FIVE STAR!!! Friendly, Professional, Trustworthy, Value, Respectful, Punctual.....you can find one or two of these traits in many auto shops RARELY do you find them all. Cal West Auto Center has them all. I will be bringing all needed auto work to them and will be recommending them to family and friends. Thank you Juan for the work you did and thanks to the Service Advisors: Drew and Dan for the scheduling, advice, and keeping me informed throughout the auto service.

Love this auto shop. My oil had been leaking for a while and I took my car to two shops and they either told me the problem was not fixable or it was fixable with a very high estimate. Drew inspected the problem with me and a flashlight. We could definitely see where the oil was coming from and how to fix it. He also changed the valve cover gasket, radiator hose and spark plugs. We took pictures, I gave him the car, I paid I reasonable amount and done, the car is now in great working order once again. I am very happy to have found this gem!
