If I could give it NO stars I would. This was the most awful experience I could have never imagined. I hope the manager Karen is terminated. Thieves and druggies are employed here. Do not recommend at all.

Back in 2015 things were very different, for many businesses of this sort. I wanted to delete my review from back then, but could not . So, the truth, I packed up and moved my things to a different storage facility because of the number of homeless people on the property, hanging out in their storage unit, sleeping and eating as well throughout the day. One guy who was very near my unit, would sit at the entrance to his rental space, he had mental health issues, not a drug user. But he was always there, creeped me out. Then there were more method tweekers hanging out, meeting up and attracting more of the same. Even after reporting the loitering to the main office, it took time to get them out. Honestly, it just did not feel safe anymore. No thank you. So now, not recommending. It was a very good deal $$, but not worth feeling unsafe. Probably OK for a very short term, 1 to 3 months, but be very aware of what is around you.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS DUMP ZERO STARS I SO WOULD!! Explain to me why a person would have 3 extremely large dogs and not clean up after them!! Then when it’s mentioned to her, the manager, she’s going to lie and say she’s going to investigate and find out who’s dogs it is!! Hey you unprofessional person, I parked across the street and saw your large dog go number2, I come the next day and sure enough, the mountain was still there!! I came 3 days later and low and behold she never cleaned it up!! I can only image what her home looks like!!The only person I’ve ever seen pick it up is some black lady that’s there all the time at her storage!! Hey owners you should hire her at least she cares about your property!! She cleans by her unit and the ones around her!! This place makes me sick!!

I would strongly recommend to steer clear of cane storage San Marcos. The people who operate the storage, or manage it, have been known to go through units and take valuables from many people. I myself had a motorcycle stolen and stored there during the time that I was in a severe accident in the hospital for 30 days. Very very strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Man these reviews obviously of the mark.the security didn't drive. Up on a scooter and see your contents if he would of .he would have stole them that's what happen to me found out even where he sold them so if you plan on renting a storage or have one get out of there because it might not be there for long Karen is nice enough but sure doesn't anything about her security I was there less in a month and my stuff cain storage we use storage to keep our stuff safe insurance or not cain storage needs evaluate there and get some straight shooters

I was very disappointed with the service and lack of cleanliness of this storage facility. The lady in the office was rude and seemed unbothered when we told her there was rodent feces on the property, she definitely didn't seem surprised either. Very disappointing!

Great people. I actually never stored anything here but my car broke down right in front of their facility. We eventually pushed my car right in front of their property and they let me leave the car while I went to work and waited for a tow to come get it. They were so kind and accommodating. Thanks!
