Do not take your vehicle here. They will talk down about other businesses to ensure your trust and gain your business. But as soon as you sign that contract and turn to walk away they pick up a dagger and stab you in your wallet. The phone call you will receive will surely be inflated. These thieves tried to charge me $1100 for a starter and battery. I specifically asked for a full diagnostic. They wanted me to pay this charge before they could do the diagnostic that I had my truck towed in for. They have a AAA driver that they clearly are in cahoots with and I will be reporting then as well. Do Not have your car towed into this scam shop. The professionalism of mgmt is the worst you can imagine experiencing. You have been warned about the smooth talking scam artist manager sucker.

Going to a mechanic gives many people anxiety, but Richard puts one to ease. Due to my career, I have met countless of mechanics and those who run mechanic shops. I can count on one hand those that I trust to do work on my personal vehicles, and Richard is one of them!
The facility is large enough to work on my B Class Motorhome, so that is a big plus. On the same day I exchanged the Motorhome with my sons car, and they were able to get the work done in the same day, all with fair pricing. Brake Stop is my go to! (they also do smogs)

Honest, professional, efficient and competitive.
My vehicle broke down on the 15 freeway on my way home to Vegas. While stuck on the carpool emergency lane waiting for tow truck, I looked up nearest mechanics and I chose these folks.
Richard’s customer service skills were exceptional.
I have a small car collection for which I no longer have the time to attend nor a trustworthy mechanic in Vegas I like.
I am so impressed that I will be sending my toys to Richard to help me keep them running.

My car had to get smog checked so we could register it, whenever we would call they would come up with a different excuse each time on why it was taking so long, around about 4 months later we got the car back with 2 thousand extra miles, and still not fixed, leaving us with a massive bill to pay for nothing, we found another shop and they got the job done quick.

I saw a deal on Groupon for an oil change and 12 point inspection and called to find out more information. I'm not sure the name of the man who answered the phone, but he was so incredibly rude. He was dismissive and condescending, talking to other people in the shop while I was in the middle of a sentence. When I was asking questions about the service, he seemed annoyed and made me feel stupid for asking them. Also, he said they wouldn't honor the Groupon price and that I'd have to pay an additional $35 due to the type of car I have. Based on looking at the other reviews I'm glad i didnt bring my business here. Very disappointing, work on your customer service!

Called for the price on a vehicle inspection so I could start uber and they told me "85.99$ and will take care of you". Called Firestone right after and they said 19.99$.

I have a 2016 Chevy Equinox that suffered an engine blow out back in September. I took it to the guys at Brake Stop and Richard took great care of me and the car. He kept me in the loop with everything and was very communicative. It’s been a few months now with the new engine and you’d never think I had to put a new engine in the Equinox. Thanks, Richard and the team!

When my Subaru's transmission failed on a Sunday afternoon, this shop was open and got to work on it immediately. Richard was very kind and even included an oil change in the price of the transmission replacement. I got my car back on day 4 and it's driving wonderfully!

** read before going! They charge nearly $200 just for an inspection that takes no time at all unless you get your work done there. So even with cheaper quotes from other places, they screw you with a heafty inspection bill for taking your service elsewhere. They get you in the door with a reasonable quote then hit you with the upcharge once they have you locked in with the inspection cost. We have AAA and asked them to honor the discount ... on our bill there is no indication that they did, just the guys "word" that he did. The gentleman in the front were nice which is why the lack of transparency is such a dissapointment. We will not be doing buisness here ever again. Taking advantage of people that need a service for the sake of safety is gross.

Don't touch this business with a 10 foot pole. Would really like a 0. Rip off city. Coupons are a joke and seldom honored. Poor communications and nasty attitude of management. Will perform services not required with no communications and inflate prices significantly. Questionable honesty. Ridiculous labor costs for routine services. Look elsewhere or go to the dealer.
