“I came here to sing the praises of Bavarian Master Care and was fully prepared to provide a detailed rundown of my entire experience with them. However, I’m no longer going to do that after seeing the overwhelming number of positive, in-depth reviews. They are well deserved.
Long story short, my 1991 318is had a catastrophic failure (the crankshaft completely snapped), and they rebuilt and handled everything for me. Very flexible and accommodating.

“KB motor sports were super professional, did an amazing job and even had my car washed when done. Tim and crew were amazing and very knowledgeable and experienced in the field. My car had a tricky diagnosis on a BMW wiring issue with the mechatronics. In a week and half, problem solved with full tune up ( tranmission flush, spark plugs, ignition coils, serpentine belt, and new emergency break line which failed and they found were all done). Thank you guys for getting me back on the road. Fully recommend anyone getting their cars fixed here.”

“My 2015 M4 (33,000 miles) experienced the worst issue from my perspective, as my electrical system just died. It took a new battery and a FEM unit that manages the charge from the battery and distributes it to the car. 1) The BMW guys came to my house to install the battery with the intent to saved me towing charges. 2) unfortunately the car didn't start and needed to be towed to the shop. It turned out I needed a part that came directly from the BMW Factory from Europe. It took 3+ months before the part came in. The BMW guys thru this time stayed on top of the suppliers every week looking for status as they kept me statused. When they finally rec'd and installed the part, and delivered to me the car worked like it was brand new. Takeaway - The BMW Guys are the real thing, Quality of Service (BMW certified mechanics), Transparency, Friendliness, Honest, Fair pricing. This is why I have serviced my BMW and now my Porsche with them for the past 5 years, "Because they CARE and take care of their customer's auto needs"”

“My last mechanic passed away in 2019 and it's been very difficult finding someone else to work on my 1967 Cadillac convertible. I finally found the right place and it's Jim at R&D Automotive. The motor for the top stopped working and I've been calling around trying to find someone who was even willing to look at it. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I called at least a dozen different shops until I found R&D and spoke to Jim. Jim was very upfront with me and said that he hadn't worked on this before, but was willing to take a look. Jim did what you expect a good mechanic to do: figure out what's working and not working. And then be able to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the motor for the power top was the problem and needed to be replaced. It wasn't cheap, but the power top works now and I can finally actually wash the car! Jim is what I look for in a mechanic and anyone I do business with. I wholeheartedly recommend his services to those in need.”

“Hands down the best. Was referred to Hoa and Platinum Auto in 2007 and been going there ever since. The problem is ALWAYS solved in a timely manner at a reasonable price and with good counsel. Hoa has kept my vehicles on the road and in tip top condition for years now -- anything from rebuilding engines to simple oil changes and literally everything in between. In the rare circumstances where there was a hiccup, Hoa worked through it with me in an open and fair way. Everything is great when it is great, but you know you've got someone you don't want to lose when they're great even in the tougher situations. “These guys were able to fix the impossible. An intermittent P0171 DTC that two other master mechanics were not able to pinpoint. I shot the parts cannon at my car over the course of several years without resolving the issue. After days of troubleshooting fuel and vacuum lines they were able to locate the issue. A hair line crack in one of the connectors coming off a pipe hidden underneath the intake tube. A secondary leak was caused by a crack in the air filter housing. Replaced both parts and no more issues. Much respect to these guys. The two other specialist I took the car to had given up.”
