We are taking our new puppy to the Puppy Social Hour and it has been fantastic. Michelle is a lovely trainer - super knowledgable, thoughtful and takes the time to answer questions and explain things in further detail. The Puppy Social Hour is a great time for your puppy to socialize with other puppies around the same age (10 weeks to 5 months) while also learning basic commands with positive reinforcement, desensitization to loud noises/objects, etc. I highly highly recommend this training at Woods Humane!

Our very spirited malamute pup graduated from both “Spunky Sprouts” and “C.H.A.R.M. School”, and loved every minute of it. Both Eric and Michele were upbeat, positive, and fun for the dogs, and knowledgeable and experienced with a wide variety of dogs and situations. It was very helpful for us as fur parents, and we are still reaping the benefits as we continue to build on what we learned and our dog practices what she learned. We highly recommend the classes at Woods University, and look forward to our next class!

We adopted our dog from another shelter not Woods but still we took our dog there for the training classes. The trainers are very good and we learned a lot. I would definitely recommend taking the CHARM school which we completed and are now planning to take the beyond basics class. And maybe the fun-gility as well. Definitely worth the money; you and your dog will be very happy you did.

Michele Rizzi is the one true dog whisperer!! She taught us so much in such a short amount of time. She is on top of her game, a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to work with. She's no nonsense (in the kindest way) when it comes to instilling behaviors with your pup. We thought we knew it all and quickly realized we didn't. We are so thankful for Michele and her talents!! We also want to thank her for her correspondence via email to set up our classes and email reminders.

My husband and I went through this training course called Petite Pals through Woods Humane Society with Michelle. We saw immediate improvements with our Chihuahua mix after taking this course. He knows how to sit, leave it, touch and much more. We felt so welcomed and comfortable through these training course. Two thumbs up for Woods Humane Society obedience training courses! I would highly recommended everyone taking their dog through the classes offered at Woods it creates such good discipline and a great animal human bond.
