We sent 3 packages to 3 separate people, and somehow the items got all jumbled up so that not one recipient got the items they were supposed to. One box was pre-packed by me, sealed and everything, the other 2 were packed by UPS. I'm not sure why or how, but even some items in the sealed box were taken out and sent to other people.
I can admit this was probably supremely unlucky, since the staff member helping us mentioned it was his first day. That's ok, mistakes happen. A full refund would have made the most sense here since none of the services paid for were correct in any sense - packages were packed incorrectly and then were shipped to the incorrect people - and I would've written it off as a one-time problem.
Nope! Apparently the most they could offer was refunding 2 of the 3 shipping fees but none of the packing fees -- we got $27.24 back from an order that cost over $80... I do believe the manager, Kasey, tried to rectify the situation but her hands were tied by some higher corporate policy, which I sincerely hope they change to something that's actually makes sense!!!

The amazing customer service given to me by Garrett at your San Luis Obispo Store on Johnson Avenue!! He is knowledgeable and precise and did everything he could to help me get my package delivered to the right location and he did it all in record time and he let the next guest know that he’d be with them shortly and offered them some candy while they were waiting!!! Unheard of in 2025 by a youthful young gentleman! I applauded your company for excellent training and I would give Garrett a standing ovation for his service!!! Bravo!

Shoutout to Baxter, who helped me twice during my stay in SLO. Baxter was great to help me both get my mail delivered to UPS while working remotely for the month, and he also helped me figure out how to send some important documents overseas, with a signature. Thanks for the assistance!

I guess times must be pretty tough for this store as they charged me 1 dollar to put a piece of tape on my prepackaged camera rental return. I've been using UPS for decades for this exact service and I've never been charged for such a thing. Especially when I have a prepaid label.I'll find another store to use in the future. It's not about the dollar. It's about the principle. Or lack thereof.
