SUPER cute store off the main drags. Highly recommend stopping in to see unique jewelry, fun T's, local eatery and hats. The gal working the store was very sweet and helpful. A def stop in downtown SLO.

You would think a small and local business would want to keep customers. My husband bought me a rather expensive hat, it was the wrong one and just wanted to exchange. They offer no exchanges or returns. Umm hello welcome the 21st century, people should be able to exchange merchandise.. seems a little out of touch, explains why no one is ever in there.

Lots of local items! Stopped by to get some items local to SLO and stumbled on some super cute kid's clothes. Nice little shop.

Nice selection of gifts and SLO merch but I bought a small ring for over 40$ and it broke with regular use in less than a week. I took it in and was told that "store policy" prevented me from being compensated in any way- not even store credit. Not even a token amount of store credit. I probably would've purchased another replacement ring at a discounted price having been given the opportunity but none was offered. It's really hard running a small local business in town, especially downtown, but these kinds of things prevent locals from returning. Too bad. Maybe this shop is geared toward Cal Poly parents or students who just leave town with their purchase??? Bummer.

This place is adorable! They have all the Catantaneo Brothers beef jerky and snacks to choose from! I put together the cutest baskets as gifts for a few family members and they loved it! I also got my sister a bag that she was so excited! It's a great place to find a gift for anyone and definitely something for yourself! Support local!

I absolutely adore this store! It is one of those hidden gems tucked away in Downtown SLO. It perfectly portrays SLO County's country-western-beach vibes. To make it even better, The Mercantile works with local vendors so that most of the products displayed in the store come directly from SLO County. Firstly, if you are in the market for jerky, this is definitely the spot! They partnered with Cattaneo Bros, providing the store with almost every option of jerky available. Cattaneo Bros is a fine meats farmer from right here in SLO! They have so many cool jerky options to try that will definitely spice up any grazing board! They also have so many apparel and gift options for the toddler/babies in your life! I was fawning over the little baby headbands. The apparel is so on brand with SLO County. I bought myself one of the SLO Town sweatshirts; the basic print and oversized nature is ideal for representing SLO while being lazy on a Sunday. They also have a wide array of Gigi Pip hats that are extremely popular in SLO right now. I always stop here when I am shopping in Downtown SLO.

I went into this shop and fell in love right away. It was very my style and everything was very cute. I ended up buying 3 hats and spending $80. 1 for me and 1 for each of my children. None of the hats had any kind if sizing marked on them so I guessed on the sizing. Once I got home neither of the hats fit my children but I loved them so much I just wanted to trade them in for a bigger size. They would not allow me to switch them out. I was very disappointed because I fe

Bought a Montana West shoulder bag less than 1 week ago. The rivet holding the strap together came off rendering the strap and therefore the little purse unusable. I called the store and they have a zero return policy under any circumstances. Very disappointing. I spent $60 for this little purse...I would have thought the owner would stand by their products and at least return a product that clearly came to me flawed. Just beware when you shop at this store if you buy something pricey there and it's flawed through no fault of your own, you're out. I'll never go there again and I would have liked to cuz they have some nice things there. But not worth it now... Customer service is absolutely a big zero!

My favorite place in town to pick up a gift. Great variety of gourmet local food, clothing, jewelry, kids stuff, household decor. Reasonable prices for really great stuff! Super cute store!

This place is so cool. The wife and I were on our honeymoon, and went walking around downtown SLO. This was the first shop we went into, and they had such cute things! The sales attendant that was there was very helpful and engaging, and even asked if she could take a picture of us for their Instagram! If you ever stop in SLO, be sure to stop by, and by the apron that I'm kicking myself for not getting.

The store turned out great Katelyn. I still can't believe how quickly you turned that place around. You're one of the most motivated people I know. Great job, and onto the next thing!
