Okay, so when it comes to tortilla chips they're all pretty standard. However, I ran across a bag of taco works of San Luis Obispo and my life had changed. They are seasoned to perfection and crispy and light and flaky like no other chip on the planet Earth. Thank you. Taco works for all that you do and I will support you till the end of time!

Sometime in 1980s or early 90s, I visited your factory and I purchased few truckloads of Taco Works tortilla chips for my wholesale business. I was impressed with your company and the founder, he was a very nice man. I am glad to see your company’s growth over the years.Steve TabriziPica Trade Inc.

Less of the original seasoning makes this just another tortilla chip - not the one I grew up with back in the '80s. Perhaps I just got a bad batch.

I discovered these chips about 2 years ago and haven't bought another brand since. They have perfected the seasoning, size and crispness in my opinion. Another factor I look for is Sodium content. These chips are at 4%. And that is very low for seasoned chips in the chip world.Anyway, if your a picky chip eater, try them out. They can be easy to miss on the shelf but its a bright orange bag.I got a box today, Woohoo!

As the standard of taco stand fare in the 805 might be set by the likes of La Super-Rica in Santa Barbara, so the benchmark of supreme overlord, hands-down, Best in Taste tortilla chips can be set by the family owned-and-operated Taco Works factory, in San Luis Obispo. At least it is, according to my distinguished palate. Just an amateur in Mexican food, still.. I know what I like. And I give props to the Taco Works family and their secret recipe of stone-ground corn and magic seasoning which includes monosodium glutamate. Yes, I know the additive can be controversial, but for those of us not allergic, m.s.g. is likely key to making these tortilla chips among the best things to accompany any sandwich or Mexican eats. Cultures have been cooking with this flavour enhancer for eons; my mama, back when she was cooking, always kept a bottle of aji no moto in the cupboard. Perhaps it's just a matter of time before Big Chip (Frito-Lay) will cast its eye on Taco Works but for now, I treasure the home-grown operation and the cooking of batches of these tantalising tasty totopos right here in California. They just have this pure corn essence that you rarely taste except maybe in house-made chips at select independent Mexican places. Muy sabor caliente deliciously addictive.. I wouldn't have it any other way. Taco Works has become a superb addition to my pantry go-to snacks. You can get these totally tubular triangular tortilla chips at their place of manufacture in SLO, but also find them at fine groceries, upscale markets, and a few supermarkets and warehouse food retailers.

Every chip in the 1 pound bag was burnt on one side making them taste terrible. I bought it at Vons.

We always buy a box of 6 from Albertsons, Morro Bay. This last box had an abnormal amount of broken chips. Don’t know where the blame should go, but either you or Albertsons caused a large portion of the chips being damaged. The box showed no sign of damage. Will try again and check for damage. Thank you. We really like your product

I live in Fernley NV, but have been to SLO several times. I was able to find the. best. tortilla. chips. in. the. world. at our local Grocery Outlet. They don't have them all the time, but when they do I stock up on them. I'm so glad I can buy them from the TW website if my local supplier stops carrying them.
