This is the only place I’d recommend to a guy with curly hair that would like to let it grow out. Spoke stylists are trained to do what most stylists can’t do with your hair and because of that I won’t go anywhere else.

Great stylist. Selected a good hair color. Aveda salons are nice. No hand massage. ?Price for hair trim $100 is too much. IMO.

I did enjoy going here but, I was charged 100 dollars for a haircut. The online price lists 75. If the prices have changed, please let the individual know before the haircut begins. It's a common curiosity. Unfortunately, I can no longer go here.Service: Haircut

I had a great time at this salon about a month ago. It cost a little bit more than I wanted to spend, but I trusted Maggie when she told me what to expect and what prices my services would entail. It's the first time I've gotten a professional hair cut outside of Supercuts. Ultimately I altered my original ideas because of the honesty that was shared with me. For Maggie, it was about giving me a great cut and highlights that still resonated with my my desired look. I wanted something that wouldn't require a lot of styling on a daily basis, but I will say that the bangs definitely need a little assistance in the morning. But overall it turned out to be a very minimal adjustment to my morning routine. Maggie took amazing care of me, and I'll definitely be going back to her. A little pricey, but worth the experience and the final outcome... Free bang trims are a plus!

I have had my hair cut and colored by Maggie Lewelling numerous times. She always does a fantastic job. She is personable and professional. I moved to the Bay Area and make trips back to SLO just to get my hair done by Maggie. I highly recommend going to Spoke SLO and getting a service from Maggie. Prior to Spoke, I had been to many different salons and stylists. After going to Maggie Lewelling at Spoke, I will never go anywhere else. She has been doing my hair for many years now and I am always happy. I love the color and cut. I always get compliments after seeing Maggie, so I have lots of chances to recommend her. I have had my hair cut and styled and colored by Maggie Lewelling for years and she does an excellent job I would not go to anyone else. She is always on time and very professional. I love how she styles it and the colors that she does is amazing. I always get a lot of compliments after I go there and I always tell everyone who does my hair and I hope that she gets more business because of that as she is very deserving. I have gone short, long, layered, highlighted, colored, etc. and I have loved everything Maggie has done. I have been going to Spoke SLO for about 7 years now and have gotten the best service from Maggie Lewelling. I always feel welcomed and heard when discussing my ideas and needs. Maggie is able to help me create a hair care routine that fits my needs and my lifestyle, as well as my budget. Maggie has been nothing short of amazing and has helped me get my hair healthy after years of box dye at home. This review is about Maggie Lewelling. My haircut came out very uneven. After washing at home I found many long strands left that I had to trim off myself. She rushed through my haircut, I was only in the chair for 20 minutes. I didn’t get it shampooed, but she didn’t even spray my hair wet before cutting only straightened it. This place has gone downhill since they shut down the bigger salon. I was using them regularly but every haircut since has just gotten worse.Service: Haircut

I’ve been getting my hair done by Shelby for a couple years now, and I always leave feeling so lovely. I’ve laughed about my “hair trauma” after going to other salons, but I’m convinced it’s a real thing! It’s so wonderful to have a stylist I can trust. I’ve also had my hair done by Katelin and Janelle in the past, and they were so great too.
