Excellent sites to relax and enjoy camp but not too far from home.Cero Alto has amazing hiking and is nicely tucked away between Morro bay and Atascadero.Lake nací is always fun and there is always things to do there! The kids love the pool at Santa Margarita and we take advantage of renting paddle boats and don’t mind a quick drive to enjoy the hiking at Rinconada Mines. There are so many more but these are our favorites!

Very disappointed in Oceano Campground. Many homeless people are camping outside the campground on the street so they have to lock the showers at 6 p.m. The grounds are unkept. They have 50 amp only at each site yet they allow tenters to come in and we had eight tents on two sites together but backed right up to our trailer. I don't mind tents just it seemed to be no rules in this Campground. People park in the street outside their space making it hard to pass as you drive by their site. The camp hosts are never seen and are either gone or hiding in their RV. So there is no help or work done by them. Won't stay here again. I do not recommend this park unless you want to party and get away from all rules.

I have been a visitor to Cayucos since I was a child and when my family and I arrived this afternoon I was shocked by the horrendous condition of the beach, especially in the area near the pier and just south. Trash, lots and lots of wood, seaweed. Just a mess.It makes me want to take the family somewhere else next year. We meet here every year but I'm not sure about next year, if this is what it's going to be like from now on.This can't be good for tourism. We will have to spend our beach time somewhere else as this beach is too disgusting. It might even be called hazardous.Whoever is responsible for taking care of this area should lose their job. To leave it like this at the beginning of the season is beyond crazy.I gave it one star because you can't leave zero stars.

I love San Luis Obispo and the beautiful well maintained parks. Just a reminder to everyone, leave no trace in parks. Its not the parks job to clean up after the guests
