With the nature of a consignment store, it will be different every time you visit. For Dear Hubby and me, it was our first time checking out their place. Lots to see! There were a couple of spaces that were merchandised, which I appreciated. Most of the rest was "arranged" in a hodgepodge fashion, which made it awkward to browse. Some of the areas were very tight. Prices were also widespread. Certain items seemed reasonable, and others were high for what they were. There definitely were some unique pieces of furniture and accessories. I'd suggest going with a treasure hunt mentality, and you just might find that special something that will enhance your home, office, or business. Free parking's always a plus.

Prices were higher than new furniture. Very confused on what this store is??

I loved my experience at SLO consignment furniture. I will say that this store is a little more on the high end side of consignment, so the quality of the furniture and the prices match that. It isn't a place to get a stained 100 dollar Craigslist couch. I was able to purchase a lovely dining table that was within my budget and Jennifer was very professional and helpful in finding someone to deliver the table to my house.

NEVER OPEN! This place looks intriguing. My family just moved into a new home, and we're looking for some great pieces, which we thought this place might have some things we want. They have hours posted, but these postings are pointless. We've tried to go in countless times over the last year, with no luck. Once arriving 15 minutes before their scheduled opening on a weekday, only once again to be met with locked doors, even after waiting another 29 minutes after the scheduled opening. We give up.

Furniture shopping is harder than people give it credit for, especially for big furniture. I have been on the hunt for a new couch for some time now. Trying to stay within my budget finding one that fits my very unique sense of style has proven extremely difficult. I have taken my time finding a couch that is grey, "therapist" style, and somewhat gothic for under a grand. I realize this is a very specific type of couch and I was being a bit too idealistic with my shopping. Wasn't I surprised when I found exactly what I was looking for at SLO Consignment! I was thrilled! A retro 1960's couch recently refurbished with a grey fabric that perfectly fit all my wants. The sales associate, Jennifer, was very helpful when she noticed me. Giving me the right amount of attention, helpful insight, and space. She could tell how much I was interested and even dropped the price $100. I wanted the night to sleep on the idea before purchasing the couch. Jennifer offered to hold it for me overnight which was so kind, even going as far to give me her email if I had any questions or anything. I came in the next day knowing exactly what I wanted. That couch was the perfect staple for my living room. I met with Jennifer again and explained to her the situation with moving the couch. She offered to hold the couch with me until my move date for the movers to pick it up for me. As a single female, I could not imagine moving the couch myself! She was extremely kind not only holding it for me until then, but also offering to come in on the day they are typically closed for my movers to grab it. You do not often see that kind of customer service. I am very grateful. Big thank you to Jennifer for a wonderful experience! I am beyond excited to have my dream couch!

SLO Consignment Furniture is a great place that offers ever-changing treasures. Jennifer has a good eye for furniture, carpets, housewares, and art. She curates to appeal to a wide variety of tastes and budgets. Prices are fair--in general, less than you would pay for full price or on eBay, but reflecting the value of the piece. It's an eclectic assortment here and you may fall in love with something you had no idea you needed! I had to furnish my whole house and came home with so many interested pieces: two paintings, two coffee tables, a big wall mirror, vases, flatware, and a super cool vintage 1960's "mushroom" lamp (the one I didn't know I was looking for!). Go check it out.

My boyfriend and I are local and had noticed this store before but hadn't stopped to check it out until today. We have been staying at the hotel next door for a few days while we are in the process of moving, so we decided to walk over (masks on) and look around. An awesome storage cabinet caught my eye immediately, but the tag on it said it had already been sold. So we kept browsing hoping to find something unique for the new house we will be moving into. We spotted a set of 2 bar type stools that were perfect, as well as a small glass bottle to add to our collection. It was upon asking for assistance to see/purchase the bottle, which was in a locked cabinet, that we noticed the woman working seemed very weary of us. While my boyfriend was showing her which bottle we wanted, I walked back to the stools to get a better idea of how tall they were. The woman was clearly distressed trying to watch the both of us like a hawk at the same time, as if we were trying to steal, but seemed to have no interest in watching the whereabouts of another older couple who were also browsing around in the store. This feeling made us both very uncomfortable, seeing as other customers weren't being treated this way. We bought the bottle but decided against the stools and against further browsing. Great stuff, steep but fair enough prices, but horrible atmosphere and service. We left feeling very unwelcome and judged. As a young couple with a few tattoos we are no strangers to rude glances, but this was flat out discrimination and very offensive. We will take our money else where.

I took a couple of items to SLO Consignment I believe in 2018. I checked once about 6 months later and both items were still there. Since I did not need them anymore, just left them. Then the pandemic struck and there they sat. Well I just received a check for both of the, March 2021. I was shocked and please, I know its been a tough road. I would definitely take the appropriate item to sell back to this consignment store.

SLO Consignment is constantly updating their fantastic merchandise. The owner has an eye for quality and understands the market. Whether you are a consigner or a buyer, SLO Consignment understands your needs. There is also a "wish list" if you are looking for something in particular and it's not there when you visit. I do recommend making frequent visits because treasures are always being added! My favorite items to find at SLO Consignment include: Mid-Century Modern, carpets from around the world, California tile tables from the 40's and 50's, vintage pottery and artisan crafts from Mexico! There is something for everyone at SLO Consignment!
