I've been with SESLOC since the 1980's and have been happy. But they have been especially helpful during the last 2 years as I've gone thru a divorce that required so much old documentation. SESLOC has done everything they can to help me get very old statements and loan docs. And they have helped me set up new accounts and have answered all my questions without making me feel inadequate. I cannot recall any errors to my accounts during the 40 years I've been with them. SESLOC is definitely customer centered.

well should've looked at Yelp before I opened up a bank account here. This is the worst bank in business in San Luis Obispo go somewhere else. Even Bank of America is better than this run their slow they never have cash when you need it and did I say Slo slow slow no thanks K.R.. PS canceled it today bye-bye

All good people who work there. The only draw back is now that they are in a new building they act more like a bank then a CU More electronic , They use to have a person to direct you now it is stand in this line or sign in on a ipad. But I also bank at Chase bank in Los Osos, they took away their cashiers and replaced them with an indoor ATM and the line can get long. The people behind the desks know each of us by name and talk to you. At SESLOC it is rear, now in the old building they did. And now they are in two buildings The other building has a receptionist that the depositors never see. However the cashiers are all friendly and can help me with just about everything I need.

We have been members for several years and utilized Sesloc for several loans within that time. They have always had great rates and little to no issues. Shout out to Kenet and Chris who helped us on our most recent loan; they made the process pretty easy for us.

I had a wonderful experience with an employee of Sesloc this morning who rectified a problem that I was having with remote banking and transfers between personal and business accounts I have never had another bank in the past which has provided me with so much courtesy and integrity----go Sesloc, you're wonderful!

Katherine at the San Luis Obispo main branch was amazing. She made my experience so smooth and she really helped me out. She was patient and kind and she never made me feel rushed. I would come back to this branch just for her customer service alone.

Beware Manipulative Business Practices: I went in for a CD. The teller said, "When the CD is about to mature, we will notify you. You have ten days to respond. If we don't hear from you, the CD will automatically renew."Fair enough. Except that when I received the form to sign, that wasn't the only choice. You can also have it rolled back into savings. The 'renew' option had been pre-checked by the teller. When I confronted her about this, she said, "I'm sorry. That's just the way we were trained to do it." Of course. The bank wants to keep the money. Best not mention that other option to the customer. Best the bank check the box, rather than the customer.When I asked the penalty for early withdrawal, I was told, "180 days interest." INTEREST? That's all? That's GREAT! Why, that's not even your money -- it's the bank's!Well, except it IS your money. You don't get the "interest" until it matures. And "180 days" is meant to muddy the waters -- it sounds like a lot less money than "six months interest". No, what you'll be charged is the equivalent of six months interest from your own money.Coming from a corporate sales background, I should have seen this coming. SESLOC is just good at selling the 'we're you're friendly neighborhood credit union!' image. Nah. I gave 'em three stars because that's average. And that's what they are -- an average, money-hungry bank, lol.On the upside, these are very clever sales techniques, and will probably keep them asset rich and stable for many years. ;)

I spoke to Yussef A. today at Sesloc. I was trying to access transaction records from many years ago. Instead of just saying "can't do it" Yussef worked with me over the phone for at least 20 minutes to solve my problem and set me up with what I needed! Yussef was friendly and efficient and I really appreciated the time he took with me. Thanks!!!

I've been needing a new debit card for weeks. I called and an employee said I can come in or order one online. I work during the week and I can't make it in for member services, so I tried ordering a card online and the link is broken. Plus they're closed on the weekend...

Chris at Sessloc is who you want to go see. he is super knowlegable with lending. you can tell this guy has been around this busines for awhile. He doesnt feel like he is trying to sell you on the banks promos or offers. Chris simply laid out all my options gave guidance when asked for it. And was just genuinley interested in what we were doing and my future plans to try and get me setup in the best situation possible. Chris was also just a down to earth guy which prob made things all that much smoother. we got to talking about kids travel & Baseball lol. genuine guy , Local guy from the community. i wouod say chris is the stabdard of what help shoupd be when it comes to leanding. Feels like your big brother when asking him questions. he listens , gives you your options, and will inform you as to all the varibles surrounding your options. i would def return to Chris for any of my future lending business.

I am an active duty service member who has a car financed through them. I am on orders to move to another country. Sesloc will not write a letter for us to take our car overseas. I wish we would have known before we accepted this bank! The only "help" they offered was to refinance with another bank or payout. Like seriously?! If you are in the military, do not finance your car with this bank, they won't let you ship your car that you pay the note on time overseas to your next duty station. I hope to get this bank blacklisted for the military before I leave.
