My wife and I stopped by here before heading home after the SLO Farmer's Market to grab some beer and wine before heading back to our hotel and it was nice inside with a lot of selection and the guy working the cash register was super chill

Sandy's Liquor and Deli is life. Sandy's Liquor and Deli is my passion. I go here with my wife and her grandmothers mom frequently to buy Body Armor and peanut butter crackers. The location and staff is great. I highly recommend.

I ordered some beer as an add on to a Door Dash order from a Mexican restaurant. When the delivery man arrived he told me they would not give him my order despite my having uploaded my ID. He also had his DL with his picture. He had renewed it and had the the renewal slip. Otherwise he could not have driven legally for Door Dash. Sandy's refused to give him my beer. Not a happy customer.

Super sketchy and overpriced. They're not even supposed to be selling puffs in the county but they are. And on top of that they're charging $27 for them. Mine stopped working 30 min after I bought it. It was late in the night and I was already home so I wasn't going to go back. I went back the next day and the owner of the store yelled at me in front of everyone. He told me I was stupid and that's not how it works. Also, he wasn't wearing a mask. Almost no one was. I swear to god this place needs to be shut down asap. This is not okay.

Sketchy service with odd fees applied after purchase. Avoid at all costs. Perhaps most disappointing was the cashier recklessly allowing several maskless patrons indoors mid pandemic.

Best service ever, they always give our dog a treat and have very kind and friendly people working there. Really fun assortment of beer/alcohol. All in all, a great neighborhood corner store with all the essentials for when you run out :)
