2-3-23 In a word...excellent! Beautiful work, good value, pleasure to do business with. Don took my poor drowned and molding car (from the end of the world rains we just had) and put in a new headliner, repaired ripped seat and other important fixes. Highly recommend!

I was am very pleased with a wonderful new headliner in my 2013 Dodge Dart.I thought I was going to have to live with a slowly wearing & tearing of my interior roof.The owner assured me he could redo the entire roof & it would look like new.The timing was good, about 6 hours & it looked like a new car. It was not a simple job because the car has handles by every door & the vanity mirrors had to be removed.I had trouble starting the car when I picked it up because I have a chronic battery problem. The owner called his friend at the Dodge dealer to ask for some tips on how to start the car. owner used his jumper cable system & we got it going. I was extremely pleased.Service: Upholstery installation

The day before a long road trip to the snow, I decided to check on my spare tire for the first time in the decade since I bought my car. Good thing - it turns out somehow, at some point, the spare tire well had flooded and there were several inches of water pooled there in the well. (?!) This caused quite a few problems, including completely soaking through the foam mat that cushions the spare tire, dampens sound, etc. The foam cushioning looked as though it had possibly gone moldy, and it was definitely disintegrating from being soaking wet for who knows how long. I called various auto places and none could help, especially that afternoon (I wanted to replace it before our road trip the following day), but someone suggested I try San Luis Auto Interiors. The shop owner at San Luis Auto Interiors could not have been nicer or more helpful. He not only carefully measured the piece of foam he had on hand to make sure it would be big enough for my needs, he let me have it for free! And after inquiring about how I planned to cut it to the correct shape (hexagon with circle in the middle), he offered to let me come back and he would cut it for me - again, for free! - with his specialized cutting tools if my regular scissors were not effective. My spouse was able to cut it to size, so no need, but I was really impressed by the kind and considerate offer. So he saved my family's trip to the snow AND did it with parts and (potential) labor free. I highly recommend this shop to anyone with auto interior needs!

I needed a new cloth soft top on my old car and have been searching forever for someone to do it. The car really isn't worth all that much so I didn't want to pay someone more $'s than the cars worth! I found Dons's shop and we talked and I got an estimate for the job. Being as great as his work is I knew I'd have to wait for an appointment. Well I did and I'm super happy with his EXPERT work and attention to detail. So I'd say if you need interior Or top replacement, look no further. I'm picky so I know!

I had the headliner of my 2004 Chevy Silverado redone. Don did an outstanding job. Furthermore, it was completed the same day and the price was very competitive. I will not hesitate to take my vehicles to SLAI for other future work.

I have a rare mid 90's AMG with the typical sagging headliner. San Luis Auto Interiors provide an accurate estimation, they had multiple materials to choose from, and finished the job on time. Thanks for making my headliner look new again.
