Nice place to stay for the location and price. We're definitely coming back.Be aware that if you do have a large vehicle, the parking may be a little tight.Walkability: Only .5mi away from the mission and shopping area. The only downfall is its an uphill walk, both ways. If my 76-year-young dad can do it, you can too.

Perfect Motel!! Extreamly good price and had all the necessities. Was nice, quiet, clean place to stay the night while visiting SLO. I had a great experience with this inn for the price range that it's at. I was a bit worried because of the negative reviews, but the inn really was not bad at all! I just needed a place to for the night and the Olive Tree Inn was perfect! Bed and shower were very comfortable. The shower has adjustable pressure which was nice. The room also had a TV, desk, and an extra chair. We also used the AC which worked well. I had no issues with the front desk. I agree it's not perfect customer service but I didn't have any problems at all.

Pros - 3 queen beds, 2 rooms with doors and a living room, kitchenette.Right off freeway. Babbling BrookCons - disgustingly cared for and furnished. Couch had 1 giant gaping and numerous smaller old holes. Everything looked unclean.Called to reserve place and was quoted 2x what online booking listed price.

Got the 3 room suite and discovered the kitchenette pictured was misleading. There is a full size refrigerator, a tiny microwave and dirty coffee maker. The place has seen better says but it was CLEAN.

A lot of the owners of these mid budget hotels just refuse to invest in their own properties. I don't understand this. The bed was decent and it was quite and that's about it. Everything is pretty much dated in the room. The toiletries are even cheaper than anything you can get at the .99 cent store. Try to change the outlets and outlet covers, light switches and covers. Home depot sells a 10 pack of outlets and covers and switches for like $12. Replace the toilet with a semi new one. Is this too much to ask? The answer to this question is unfortunately yes.Stop contributing to this nonsense.

We came to stay here for our anniversary.Front desk was extremely hard to understand, which we are patient with.When we got to our room, it was absolutely FILTHY. Stains on both beds, first all over the floor and bugs found in multiple places.They told us they would provide a full refund, and once we left, charged us for half and would not return.We’re not super picky, but this place was absolutely disgusting. Don’t stay here.

I made 2 day reservations online for a downstairs 2 beds and when I arrived it was not available. The room I was provided was next to their living area. The room did not relaxing it was noisy, the king size bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were standard size and flat. Everything in the room is made to look amazing in the photos but it is old and not well maintained. I would not recommend this hotel for the prices. We did not sleep well at all. I recommend staying at the Hampton Inn pay more but you get what you pay for

The desk clerk was hardly verbal, was not helpful at all. Rooms can use a good scrubbing. I'll be avoiding this place. It was a struggle to give a star.

Rooms are decent enough for the price, but the staff was extremely rude. They called me to ask about my check out time, and when I tried to answer, they interrupted me, yelled at me, then hung up on me.
