Wish I could give no stars. This is the most unwelcoming store I’ve been in, I felt absolutely invisible. Not one person acknowledged me or my family, welcomed us in or asked us how they could help. We came in looking to purchase a nice pair of dress shoes. Waited around for about 7 minutes then I walked up to the counter to get help, the woman failed to even look up in my direction… finally my fiancé told me let’s just go elsewhere. They definitely gave off the impression “if they don’t look like they have money we won’t give them the time of day” …I’m a wedding planner by business and will no longer be recommending this place to my clients.

Fine menswear with exceptional service. The sales team in SLO are very helpful. I've managed to find several brands of high-quality for my male relatives. They're very happy and impressed with my gifts.

I bought a pair a loafers for $300 and couldn't return them because I walked to my mailbox in them.I'm not quite sure how many levels of bad service I received from my one any certainly only transaction with Patrick James.I'll post the email of my attempt to return these shoes and you can decide for yourself if you want to patron this company The summary is that I wore shoes for 45 seconds and they felt terrible on my feet. Unfortunately after a hundred foot walk to my mailbox ruined them since the quality matches the feelI'll post this a reddit as well.

This place is awesome for suit rental for a wedding. I had 7 tux rentals set up with a breeze. Mark is the man!

My fiancé came in here to get an opinion on a suit and ended up getting a perfect match. Patrick James has been amazing with how meticulous they are with their attention to detail. From helping choose an amazing tie, helping decide on an undershirt and even suit underwear- their sales people are amazing! They aren't pushy but they will ensure you are remembering even the smallest of details. Everyone there is amazing but especially Mark and Cynthia are incredibly helpful. I don't know the next time we will need to buy a suit for him, but we'll be sure to come back to Patrick James!

Definitely talk to Justin, he is awesome set my husband up for a black tie wedding we are going to in September 2022 did a great job helping us out with tuxedo details. He is very professional and nice. Highly recommend

My first time in this fine shop. A helpful and knowledgeable gentleman, by the name of Mark, was a pleasure to do buisness with. The shop is curated well with the nicest array of men's clothing I have found on the central coast to date. From suits to cashmere seaters, fine footwear to gorgeous ties, and an elegant a array of shirts and dress shirts, I have found my go to men's shop. I highly recommend
