The worst, ethically, mortgage broker I ever dealt with. I whole heartly advice you not to use this mortgage broker.
This particular agent started by quoting the rate at 6.67% in June 2024 with no discount point. I confirmed with my sister, which is a morgage broker at other agency, that this was a good and reasonabl rate. Because of $5000 credit from the seller/builder for using their "preferred" lender and i believed the agent was honest, I proceeded with this lender.
With less than 3 weeks left before closing date, the agent sent me a preliminar disclosure quoting 7%. He also said that I could pay a discount point to buy the rate down to 6.67%. I knew the mortgage rate was steadily going down from June to July. I checked with my sister and two other morgage companies and confirmed that the rate I would get was 6.49% with my credit score of over 800 and 60% downpayment.
I could not change the mortgage company because my closing date was less than 3 weeks.
This agent would get more than 3% back from the lender by selling me a mortage with such high rate compared to the market rate. I understand the agent is commision based but still he would get 1 to 1.5% back by selling me a honest normal rate mortgage. With this unethical practice, he probably pocketed about 2% higher commission in his client's expense.

Worked with Sarah Atkinson on my loan. She was great and made the process super easy. Sarah was on top of everything and also provided us with options so we can make the best choices. Super friendly, genuine, and would definitely recommend her if you are looking for a loan!

Chris and the team at Pacific Trust Mortgage were instrumental in helping us purchase our home in north county.We were initially working with a large national lender, everything was going fine, until it wasn't. The team at Pacific Trust Mortgage is among the most competent and trustworthy companies we have ever had the pleasure to work with. As a first time homebuyer we were a little overwhelmed despite having researched the home buying process extensively. After having a falling out with our first loan officer we scrambled to find another in a short time frame. After perusing google reviews, Sarah Atkinson and her team came in and saved the day. From the onset she was honest and upfront about the process. There were no surprise fees after the first estimate and they worked diligently to make sure everything was accurate. On top of that we managed to close 2 days earlier which was a relief for the sellers and us. They have earned our business for life. Highly recommended for all your loan needs!

I highly recommend Sarah Atkinson! She worked diligently to get me my loan, going above and beyond to get it done. She was there for me every step of the way, through every question or concern I had. This was a trying time for me and Sarah was very supportive and understanding. I don’t think I could have got through this or saved my home without her.

You won’t find a better broker than Chris Orsini. He and his team are very responsive and professional. He got our loan approved, even with the challenges of a self-employed jumbo loan.What really stood out to us though, was months later, when he called to suggest we refinance. The limit for conforming loans had just increased, meaning we could refinance our current jumbo loan into a conforming loan at a much better interest rate. We wouldn’t have known if he hadn’t called, and now my wife and I are saving hundreds of dollars each month for the next 30 years! Every time we pay the mortgage, we are grateful to Chris.

He was with us every step of the way throughout the home buying process and made what is really complex (and tedious) simple. I worked with Darryl Stolz to get a mortgage from Pacific Trust Mortgage to purchase a home in San Luis Obispo North county area. He was easy to work with and communicate with during the entire process and has a great deal of knowledge and experience. From the approval process to underwriting everything went smoothly. All the paperwork for the mortgage was ready for the escrow signing and there were no surprises. Also, I was looking for a home over many months and considered several homes while interest rates kept changing. While I was looking at homes, Darryl was great on getting estimates back to me on the homes I was considering buying to give me an idea about what the monthly payments would be at different levels of down-payments and points. I would definitely work with Darryl again on a re-finance or a purchase, it was a great experience!

Chris Orsini is the absolute best!! I was a first time home buyer and both nervous and ignorant about the process. Michelle is great loan officer to work with. She is very knowledgeable and is on top of her deals. Communication is key with her and you can always appreciate that especially now a days.She goes over and beyond for her clients and she continues to have her clients come back to her as well as being sent referrals. That right there speaks volumes. I know that I refer my clients to her. She is also bilingual which makes it easy for clients to have someone there to speak to them in their preferred language.Michelle is highly recommended

We have bought 2 houses with Chris and also refinanced several times, he contacts us whenever it is time to get a better deal. When we were buying our current house we made a financial mistake and if it weren't for Chris and his knowledge and connections in the industry the whole deal would have fallen through and we would have lost the house we really wanted to buy. He totally saved the day (and the house!).I can't think of one time he has not been on the other end of phone or email instantly - he is super responsive as are the whole team.He's a good man and has a great team. We highly recommend!
