I have been taking gym classes there for two years. It is a wonderful place to go to. The equipment, facilities, and rooms are clean, nice and wonderful. I have built a OT community while taking classes. I really do like all of the instructors. They care, push you, and drive you. The front desk staff are great and always free at the end of class to follow up on details. I have had 4 friends join me in the last two years at this gym. My fitness strength and endurance have increase. I feel healthy and happy everytime I go. Thanks OT!

They refused to let me in class even though I came 15 min early and had to drive 30 min to get here. Would think that would be spelled out more clearly - they didn’t refund me for the class even though I arrived 15 min early. Not only that, they were so rude at the front desk. No need to be disrespectful.

Was in town for the weekend and took a class with Coach Brandy, 10/10 workout environment and coach!!! Even though I was new to this location I felt very supported and encouraged. Fantastic SA’s as well, they introed my cousin for his first class and he had a great time.

I was always intimidated by Orange Theory but after attending a free class, it was so clear what the hype was about! I signed up and have been so happy with my membership! Orange Theory SLO has an incredible team of people. Whether it’s Nicole and Jess greeting you by name with a friendly smile or their remarkable team of coaches (Nancy, Lisa, Jaclyn, and Josh), you feel like family as you’re getting an incredible workout! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Update: In light of the owner reaching out and considering that managets do make mistakes and hopefully learn from them, I increased my review from one star to four stars...This review is for the management, not the staff who were very welcoming, nor the workouts, nor the clean facility. Soon after I signed up, I began having severe back pain while doing the row, treadmill, and some of the weight exercises. I took the trainer's suggestions but the pain got worse.I found out through an MRI that I had a severe disc bulge, along with degeneration in my sacrum and lower lumbar spine. It's incredibly painful, especially when sitting. I am not able to drive without severe pain. I asked management to waive the cancellation fee and stop my membership and they told me that I needed to give them a doctor's signed note to get the fee cancelled.I provided management with my MRI results along with a message from my doctor that she was willing to write a doctor's note and leave it at the office for me to pick up but couldn't email me the note due to HIPPA rules. I asked Orangetheory to waive my cancellation fee without me having to pick up the note and deliver it to them, because the drive to the doctor's office was long and would be very painful, but they refused. They responded that they couldn't be flexible with me and that others were able to provide them with a doctor's note, so I should too. I pleaded with them one more time to waive the fee, but they never responded. They know that my doctor is willing to write a note indicating that I can't exercise, because I showed them the correspondence. They know that it causes me great pain to leave my house and drive, because I told them. They know the specifics and severity of my injury, because I shared the MRI with them. I'm left feeling that they'd rather collect fees than to treat their customers with compassion and understanding. If they want to keep their customers happy, they should consider an individual's extenuating circumstances and be more willing to make exceptions to their rules.

I had a great experience at the San Luis Obispo, Orangetheory Fitness. Lori, Josh. And all their team members were very supportive and motivated me to do my best.

I don't understand this logic, unless they want to make things so inconvenient for disabled customers that they give up and pay the fee. Guy at the front desk incredibly rude. No company makes it harder to use other clubs and be a guest. New waiver every single time. New credit card on file. Unreal.

Great workout, and I really like the feel of this particular studio. I’ve visited many studios over the past 7 years and this one is easily the best. Great size and layout, and the coaching staff is wonderful.I would recommend this workout to anyone, it’s challenging and rewarding and encouraging all at the same time, regardless of your fitness level!

I signed up at Orangetheory because of the 2023 rains on the coast and inability to hike consistently. I have been so impressed with the entire staff and class selection at this location. The coaches are all extremely knowledgeable and encourage the entire class to be the best they can be. Each class is different so the variety of exercises completed is vast. It's not easy to make a row or treadmill feel different but they certainly do a good job of it. The main thing for me here is that it is you against you in these classes. It's only an internal competition. The coaches .... Lisa. Lori. Nancy. Jaclyn all bring their own styles. All are most excellent!

Love it. Just joined last month and it's been very motivating to get healthy. This is the first gym I've ever joined and I like how each class is different and works your body a slightly dif way. It's a solid hour of workout and very much worth it. (I signed up for unlimited monthly and try to go 3-4x a week). Lots of options for classes and plenty of parking.

I’ve been to several OTF studios in my time with Orange Theory and this is hands down my favorite! Friendly, helpful staff, great coaches and clean. They truly care about you and get to know you. Can’t ask for anything more. I’m so grateful for this studio and recommend it to anyone looking for a great workout!
