He still owes a refund for a cancelled order. Doubt we'll ever see it. On two other orders charged us $150.00 and $250.00 for shipping. The tile was beautiful. And his recommendations were right on. But cannot recommend this business.

The only reason for this rating is because there is not a zero. Our experience with Matt was the worst in my 40 years in the construction industry, very poor customer service. A job that we were quoted would take three weeks to install took over 7 months to complete, throwing all of our other trades behind schedule. We heard every excuse in the book from Matt. Near completion of the interior installation, it was discovered that he ordered several hundred square feet extra of our tile flooring and not enough of the base tile. Then, he did not give proper credit for shipping cost and we have a stack of extra tile still sitting in our garage (more than 30% overage). His lack of trust has cost us thousands of dollars and he has no concern what so ever for his clients. Matt's only concern was getting a check, his customer service is terrible. The amount of money they charge you would expect way more professional service.

I did not enter the store because it is closed except by appointment. The person who was locking the door as I arrived implied that the tile was too expensive for me to afford/be interested in, then said I could make an appointment for the next day. No thanks. The people at TileCo down the street were very helpful.

I strongly advise not doing business with Matt Clark. He has highly unethical business practices. He over ordered the tile. He charged an exorbitant shipping charge after the fact, which was not disclosed at the time of the order. We caught him in numerous lies. We hired Matt Clark to remodel our 2 small bathrooms. A very simple job. He somehow, with his "vast knowledge and experience", managed to order close to double the tile needed for each bathroom. He will not take the tile back stating that we signed a contract and it is non refundable, and that we determined the amount of tile to order. What!!!! He measured our bathrooms and told us how much we need to for the job. He sent us an invoice for 25% of the cost of the tile for the shipping charges. He said he gave us a great deal, 20% off the tile. When we went to Tile co they sold the same tile for less than our alleged "deal". Tile co helped us choose the trim, quarter rounds & pencil trim, that were left off the job by the most experienced tile guy in the county. If you want to be cheated and lied to then Matt Clark is your tile guy.

They deserve a 6 star rating! Matt & Co. (especially Manny!) came in and rescued me and my shower project after another contractor did a horrible job (leaking, poor grouting, loose tiles etc.) and basically ghosted me for weeks. The entire shower had to be ripped out and redone from scratch. It's beautiful and functioning now. They followed through at every turn, making sure I was happy and the project was done right. I will never use another tile company and neither should you.

We had our kids' bath retiled during Covid. It was stressful to think about having people come in an out of our house, but Matt and his team did a great job. They were efficient and professional. Our bathroom looks amazing and we can't wait to have them back to do our master bath as well!

I needed tile to remodel our our fireplace surround and floor. Matt's store is like 1/4 mile from my house so was the first on my hunt - wanting to support small local businesses. The reception was shocking. For starters, I hadn't made an appointment. I could see people in the show room, the door was locked and it took a phone call to have someone come out. I got 'the INTERVIEW" - like who was I, had I shopped there before, and why didn't I call - "we are on appointment only". The 'interview' consisted of asking me everything except my mother's maiden name. I was shocked, and told the gal, you have a showroom full, and I am a customer, you have a lot of tile, but based on this "interview" I will never come back". Yes, I had been a previous customer - another very disgruntling experience of picking out the ceramic tile for the kitchen floor, and was told it would be 3-4 days before arriving. The tile arrived 3 weeks later, and our contractor had to make other job arrangements. When our project was completed, we had two full boxes of tile that we didn't need - only to find out that Matt's people calculated extra, which is what my contractor had already fixed into our order. They of course, refused to accept any returns. I will never return to Matt's business.

Not happy. We Started redoing our bathroom and ran out of floor tile. The estimated amount was not enough (they calculated what we would need)and we’ve been waiting 3 wks for it to come in. Meanwhile our bathroom is torn up and we’re still waiting for the tile to finish the job.

Excellent service! Katie and Aurora were always very helpful when I would call with orders. If I left a message they always responded quickly. I got all my tile in as planned, and when I needed more it arrived quickly. Excellent service at a fair price. And Katie and Aurora did a fantastic job. Thank you all!!!
