We stopped here on our return trip to Oregon to get an oil change. Overall the service was great, we got an oil change and transmission fluid flushed.
However, the problem came up with the windshield. They wrote our phone number on our windshield with a chalk of some sort, but whatever they used to clean it off left some MAJOR streaks on the windshield! We've tried wiping them off with paper towels, windshield cleaning squeegee at gas stations, alcohol wipes, glass cleaner wipes, and even went through a car wash and they're STILL THERE! It has been very annoying for the drive back.
Update: We've also tried Dawn dish soap (in case it was oil-related) and windex, neither worked. We then took the car to a mechanic once returning home who tried some of his professional glass cleaner, which also didn't work. The mechanic said it looks like something acidic may have been in their cleaning solution and etched the finish on the windshield, and the only way to fix that is to have the windshield replaced!!
Update 2: We tried reaching out to the owner and he swears that there's nothing in his shop that could cause damage like this, however I have a picture from just before taking the car to the shop, then a picture from afterwords, clearly showing lines/streaks that did not exist prior to the visit. Additionally, these lines are only on the driver side, like someone used a dirty rag to wipe off just the drivers side of the window and it left these marks.

I can't say enough good things about Lube N Go in SLO. After another company completely ignored a problem with my car, these guys took the time to thoroughly explain the issue and how to fix it. Their honesty and professionalism really stood out to me. I'll definitely be trusting them with all my future business. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for 4-5 years. They are quick and courteous. I feel as a woman they’re honest with me and tell me facts not fluff. Nothing pushy like some oil change shops. They’re good people and I’ve always left with a smile. Pricing seems reasonable as well.

On our trip from Santa Cruz to Orange County we just happened to be stopping for coffee and pulled over when our water pump blew right in front of this shop on a Friday at 3:30pm. They scrambled to get the pump delivered asap and got us back on the road by 5pm. With all of our luggage and e-bikes in tow I can only imagine what our trip would have looked like had they not been so accommodating!

Took my van into this shop for a repair to be done, they ended up putting in a used part that was broken. I know because I bought the part myself and fixed the car myself. I went here again for another visit and they will ask you to Venmo them or pay cash and if you ask for a receipt they will give you a “Quote” as if they didn’t do the work this place needs to be shut down what a bunch of scammers!Services: Electrical repair

Back in august I had transmission serviced by this place. They told me that it didn’t need a filter change . Flushed system with new machine. Three days later the the transmission failed . I have since returned vehicle to dealer for refund because of engine issues and other problems . Having worked on cars over 50 years , and educating myself on proper service, I don’t recommend anyone talked into this service and go to a certified mechanic who will change filters as well as fluid . I will never use or recommend this business again .Service: Transmission
