After hearing too many horror stories about contractors not delivering, the best description of Kitchen and Bath Works is: Dream Team. Erika, Jerry and their incredible team combine every single advantage possible to give you the best value, quality and peace of mind for your remodel. They're the time-tested best kept secret on the Central Coast because they're too busy to market themselves. The experience is both affordable, ethical, and as easy as it gets. They will hold your hand through every decision. The project won't start until all materials are ready to go. This means you're minimally impacted by something that normally might be an invasive, disruptive process. When they're working on your job, you'll be their top priority. They'll save you money by avoiding the mistakes you're sure to make without their experiences. All this for a price that's unbelievably affordable. It's basically a labor of love for them. They simply can't do anything but their absolute best work for you. You're guaranteed three things: You won't be sorry you hired them. You will be if you don't. You'll send me flowers every year when it's done. You're welcome.

I just have to share how kind and helpful Erika was when I walked in this week - two days in a row - and asked her for some advice regarding a budget remodel of a bathroom that we are putting together ourselves, and, as I explained to her, ordering materials from discount big box retailers and on line. She had nothing to gain, although of course now I would get a bid from her first If we ever have a room remodeled in the future. I am sure Erika might not always have time to be as helpful to everyone just seeking ideas and advice as she was to me on these two visits, but I really appreciated her generously sharing her expertise. When I read on line there was a problem with her attitude I was totally surprised, but I did notice both times were several years ago. Maybe she or the writers were under some stress back then, or maybe she's changed. I think she'd be fantastic to work with. So my tip is to give her a chance and see for yourself what she's like. She could not have been nicer, the displays there are gorgeous, and her excellent ideas and advice saved me money.

I had a very similar experience as Jane. My wife and I went to talk through our bathroom remodel with them. I was wanting them to take on a couple aspects of the remodel as I handled the rest. The lady was quite condensing and rude. She acted as though I could never have the skill to do a bathroom remodel myself. I wish I would have told her off at the time, but figure this is a more productive way to warn people. Not the place to go and I plan to steer my friends away from use them.

Don't even bother if you don't have lots of money. We just wanted to look at some kitchen back splashes to get ideas and only went in to look around. We weren't deceptive about this, but the owner was rude and condescending to us. She insulted my abilities, without knowing what they are, and it got worse from there. My spouse was surprised I didn't say anything in response, but I was so stunned by the attitude and behavior of the woman that I just walked out without saying a word in response. I have shared this experience with a number of people and advised them to go elsewhere.

Two words describe the job that K & B did on our bathroom remodel: professionalism and craftsmanship. Erika was terrific in describing what was to be done, costs, and so forth. Her recommendations and ideas were spot on. Gerry and crew did a marvelous job on the installation and follow up. We were extremely happy working with Erika, Gerry, and crew and very pleased with the work they did. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Gerry built windbreakers for our restaurant last year. They were built so well they have not warped or come apart even after moving them. He incorporated my initial vision and created something way better. Also I didn't have to hunt him down to get the job done, very professional. Highly recommended
