I don't like leaving bad reviews unless something goes really bad and this did. I had a bad experience with an agent from the Mill Street Branch. He was either completely uneducated in the practices and procedures of his company or he was absolutely dishonest. I'm still not really sure which one it is was because his communication turned non-existent once we decided not to purchase with him. Long story short, it took a branch manager, a corporate office and a couple of superiors to return 3 monthly premiums that were taken from our checking account without our permission for a policy that was never started. I'm confident that our agent knew what was happening, but he never communicated with us again once we stated we did not want to start a policy, except to say he was out of compliance. However, three premiums were withdrawn from our account and since these agents work solely on commission I'm sure he knew what was happening. In the end the SLO branch was able to get my money refunded and was slightly apologetic for the problem, but we never really got an explanation. Thankfully our money was returned and we can move on....it took 4 solid months. Disappointing.
