The first room we had the bathroom window wasn't able to close and had no screen so we switched and the 2nd room was better just the light switch in bathroom turned off in the middle of my shower. It wasn't even a timer switch so it was weird. The beds were comfortable.

Not a terrible room. A 3 Star Hotel? No way, more like an overpriced motel. Good size but outdated. Quiet compared to the rest of SLO. But a Ben Dover special. It was over $200 a night. Janky leaning TV. The place could use a coat of paint. A rip off amongst rip off’s. The room heater did not warm the room and it made clicking sounds that woke me up all night. Very Cold room on a 50 degree night. I’m glad I brought a blanket or I’d be freezing. Hey, at least the portable A/C worked, lmao. It was too cold to enjoy the pool. A thermostat on the wall that controlled nothing. Light switch located right behind the bathroom door, good if you want to dump in the dark and have access to switch the lights but hard to turn on the bathroom lights when you walk in. Maybe worth $140 tops on a busy weekend. 2 stars for telling the attendant that my heater did not work and they did nothing about it. Get with it, poor customer service and outdated heating and cooling lead to this 2 star review.

The owner of this place was so rude! He was looking through our windows the whole time we were there, he threatened to kick us out multiple times for having guests over during the day, playing music, and tried to double charge us for having four people staying in our room when the contract says it’s only an extra 10 dollars. He also had the office closed at night and wouldn’t answer his phone or the service bell for over 10 minutes while we were locked out of our room.

Horrible experience staying at this " 3-star hotel," which is truly just a motel. Despite signage stating there's no smoking allowed, we smelled residual cigarette smoke in our room on our first day but it wasn't irritating to our lungs initially. Then later in our stay it was very obvious that other residents were smoking in their rooms and the smoke was being directed into our room. I notified the front desk (which isn't attended, you have to ring a bell or sometimes call a phone number) three times and it was never resolved. I woke up with a sore throat and my 79 year old father who I'm traveling with was wheezing in the night. The manager proceeded to gaslight me about the issue saying that he couldn't smell the smoke despite there being smoke stains on the wall from regular smoking. This establishment is listed as a 3-stay amenities hotel but is purely a motel, as there is no communal space. This has affected my stay because I have no quiet space to do work when my dad is watching TV in the hotel room, and no public restrooms to use when my dad is using the room toilet. I'm am astounded by the lack of poor hospitality by the front desk staff, who did very little to help with the issue of smoke.

Was clean, and good location. For the price, you get a clean room with microwave and a fridge and coffee maker.

It was really uncomfortable to stay here. But the most uncomfortable part was using the bathrooms in the room. The shower had a curved shower rod so the shower curtain would not cover everything, and with the thin shower curtain, water got everywhere. There was also a shattered sink and window. And the paint looked like it was coming off. I would recommend spending a bit more on another hotel next door.

Me and my wife needed a place to rest before our long drive home and ended up choosing this one. Great price and a really comfortable bed. Room was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was much needed after hours on the road. 5

Not the nicest hotel I stayed in and not the worst friendly front desk staff clean enough room. The shower didn't operate correctly and they only had one towel in the room. The TV was extremely weird to operate as well for a one-night stay. It was perfect for my needs as the price was within my budget.

We stayed at the Inn at SLO for one night; the beds were comfortable (mattresses a bit on the firmer side but nothing to complain about), the room, pool, and hot tub were clean, the motel noise was minimal, and the check in/out process was simple and minimal - which I always enjoy. The location was excellent. Super close to downtown historic SLO, very walkable and lots of great restaurants in the vicinity. Have nothing bad to say. It was an affordable option as we passed through town and we all (me and husband + 2 small children) were quite comfortable.

We really enjoyed the pool and the location next to a restaurant with great drinks. We stayed on the first floor. I don't know what year it was biuld. But you can hear a squeaking sound every time someone walks on the second floor. Other than that, beds are comfortable just a hard time sleeping while someone on the second floor wakes up at 4 am.

Super clean, comfy bed and pillows. We had a quiet night and slept live babies. Plus point for having microwave and mini fridge. Manager even lent me phone charger, which I appreciated very much:)Walkability: Close to Cal Poly and convenience stores.

So I started with low expectations, it's a motel.I stayed for one night (too many) during CP move in. There wasn't much available that wasn't $400+ per night so this is what I could get. The rate was $129, $157 all in. You get what you pay for.Check in -I called at 2:20 asking if I could get an early check in (30 minutes). No answer. Used the google messaging, no response. Went to the hotel anyway and they let me check in early. Got a response to my google message that I could check in at 2:30. Message came in after 6. Room -There was a missing plate on an electrical outlet. There was a random screw sticking out of the shower handle. Both are safety hazards. The thermostat in the room didn't control anything, it is just a thermometer. The old school heater/AC is under the counter. I turned on the AC because I didn't feel comfortable leaving my windows open. The AC was turned to the lowest temperature and highest fan setting and it took the edge off the heat but didn't really cool it down. It was way cooler outside and I wish I could have left my windows open. Amenities -I was right by the pool but didn't have a chance to use it. Didn't see anyone else using it.Coffee in the room was horrendous. I set my expectations waaaaaayyyy low and still it was bad.No coffee or snacks in the lobby. Ice machine worked.Cleanliness -The room smelled like bleach when I first opened the door. I thought that was a good thing. I didn't notice anything egregious in the room.I saw a housekeeper drop clean sheets out of his cart, onto the ground in the parking lot. He brushed them off and then put them on top of clean sheets on the cart.
