The sweetest shop in downtown SLO! I have adored this shop for years and years. They are a store you can feel good about purchasing from as everything they carry supports fair trade (fair compensation) practices from artisans all over the world. They have such a large selection. The store also has the best window displays throughout the year! It's such a treat to shop here. <3

Great service, great products, beautifully decorated store. I live in Santa Cruz but I make at least 2-3 trips a year to this store to buy many gifts for myself and others. Keep up the good work Humankind!

It's become a tradition of mine to buy one of the fluffy llama figures from HumanKind every time I come to SLO. My room is piling up with llama figures, and I'm all too happy about it. Wonderful environment and selection, and a great place to support creators from around the world!

Such a beautiful shop!! I am obsessed with their selection of handmade goods. Beautiful table cloths and dish towels, and cute felted bouquets. Could easily spend hours in this store looking at the craftsmanship of all these pieces. Kind workers who were very friendly. Great value for all the items that made it easy to contemplate spending your whole paycheck on multiples of things. Love this shop and definitely will return when I'm back in town.

HumanKind Fair Trade is one of my favorite shops in San Luis Obispo. As a local to the area, I love buying little gifts for others (and myself) from HumanKind. I love the mission of HumanKind and have become a supporter of fair trade ethics. I always feel incredibly welcomed in the shop (especially by LynAnne) and always look forward to my visits.
