“A well run card lock station. Bring you cardlock card and get the best price on fuel, usually. You will have to trust them as they post no prices and prices can change daily as the petroleum market price changes in either direction. Daytime when JB Dewar is open they also sell a full line of lubricants and automotive chemicals as well as PROPANE, biodiesel, and LNG.”

“Stopped here before checking in to the Madonna in and stopped again before getting on the road to head home. Both times the customer service was great. The bathrooms, outside to the left (need a code), were clean and did not smell. Plenty of options to choose from in the store. Gas was reasonably priced.”
“I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughnut; I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I'll just give you the money, and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I just can't imagine a scenario where I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut.”

“When we arrived I saw a sign saying because of health concerns/virus that the restrooms were closed. I turned to go back to the car and a man I assume was the owner came running out to tell me the security code for the restrooms. He said, “It’s Mother’s Day! How could I turn you away? Mothers are welcome here!” I was so grateful to him. Our son had been in a car accident and was in the ER a few blocks away. Of course we couldn’t go in and I was pretty frazzled. I will never forget his kindness.”
“Fast and easy spot located near major intersection and highway 101 on/off ramps. They have a car wash and all the snacks and beverages needed when you're on the road.”
“With petrol being as high as it is in California, it pays to find a station with cash prices that result in lower fuel costs. It was $4.09 when I went which is crazy high under normal circumstances but compared to Shell or Chevron, it’s much less.
The cashier is awesome and good at his job. The convenience store part is very small so not a lot of choices and expensive but you’re paying for ....you guessed it, convenience.
As someone else mentioned, the gas pump doesn’t turn off when it’s overfilling so watch for it or underestimate your cost if paying cash.
Gas station is well lit with many pumps and has two entrances/exits so more people can get in and out without clogging the streets.”
“The restrooms are well maintained for customers. Gas is 24 hours a day, store closes at 11 pm for end of day change over and then reopens 20 minutes later. Stays open until 2am and then closes for two hours to clean, stock and fix the store. If you've visited, you know my catch phrase, I'll end this here. “Shell stations are usually pretty reliable, and this one is no exception. The place is clean, well-lit, and feels safe, which is something I always appreciate—especially if I’m stopping in the evening.
They’ve got good quality fuel, and the pumps work smoothly without any hassle. It’s usually easy to get in and out, and there’s enough space to move around without feeling cramped, even when it’s a bit busy.
Inside, the convenience store is stocked with the basics—snacks, drinks, and other road trip essentials. Staff is polite and efficient, which makes the whole experience quick and stress-free.
Sure, prices might be a little higher compared to warehouse stations like Costco, but you're paying for the convenience and the quality Shell is known for. If you're nearby or just passing through, it’s a solid stop.”

“Among the lowest per gallon prices in the area with a pump or two usually open on the busiest days. The right turn in from higuera can be abrupt so look out for full pumps as you pull in. Friendly enough staff and service, but I haven't been in much. They have a lot more than you think crammed in that tiny shop if you need food or drink!”
