It's a gas station it's fine. I will say the clerk has helped me out on a few occasions when they didn't have an item I thought they would have in the shop and they directed me to another place that did have it.

I need receipts for gas and this station is consistently out of receipt paper. Any pump. Any day. Paper never maintained.

This is a Chevron so if you want the cheapest gas go somewhere else! Enjoy the quality of Chevron fuel, but my main reason for the 5 star rating is the friendly staff and clean restrooms!

While vising San Luis Obispo we needed to fill up before our drive back to the Bay Area, so we stopped in at this Chevron that was on our way back. The young girl at the counter was very welcoming with a "Welcome it". She geeted every person that walkd in the door. What a great way to make evey cutomer welcomed into thier establishment. 5 Stars for her, too bad I did not get her name, but kuddos for you. The store was a good size and had all the favorite snacks and drinks and then some. The restroom were resonably clean and maintained. Pumped ouir gas and $66.01 later we were on the road to home. Gas prices were resonable considering the current high gas prices. However it was cheaper than other gas stations I have pumped gat at. Happy travels and stay safe. "Welcome in"

Well hmmph! My Dad and I both have visited this Chevron on different occasions and needed to check the air pressure in our tires. His was a Bronco and mine had low profile tires. The pump was unable to fill to the Bronco's specified requirements for its' larger tires and mine filled so rapidly that I had to release some air! The prices for gas here tend to be middle of the road for SLO and I have always found the convenience store to have a good selection of drinks, snacks, souvenirs and grocery odds and ends though. Overall I guess a 3 rating is fair.

Had a horrible experience at this gas station. Don't know her name but she's heavy set . Extremely rude to my husband. Went in to get gas and only wanted 10 dollars in gas. She said no. And then she asked him to clean his shoes off even though he had new shoes on cause she was sweeping. And made him wait for to pay for gas til she was done. Horrible service. Don't go there and there overpriced!!!-0 stars

This store is supposed to be open 24 hours. I used to frequently stop here on my way home from work at 11pm. Lately the store is closed. No notice and nobody in sight. They are loosing a lot of business as several other people are driving away too.

Used to be decent service but turnover is very high here, making service hit or miss. They close the store at night and sell you items thru the window... In SLO? Recently had one of the new folks deny the promo price that was posted on the product. With plenty of options nearby, just skip this spot. Conserv is much better.

If you plan to use a credit card at the pump find a different gas station. About two blocks down the road there is a Shell station or over by the freeway is another Chevron or at Santa Rosa and Foothill is 1/3 Chevron. Any of those gas stations would be better than this one. Everytime I try to use my card at the pump it will not work even though I use it at other gas stations. I walk with a cane which means I must walk into the store to pay to do what I should have been able to do at the pump without walking the distance with my cane. When I went in to pay today there were two people at the register. The one that took my money was fine and did not cause an issue. As I was leaving the register I turned to tell them that because my card does not work at the pump when I come in to pay cash I only Buy $5 instead of getting more or filling up as I would do it the pump if I paid there. The one clerk apologized and told me that they were supposed to get updated readers to which I responded that I had been hearing this for quite some time which was true. At that point John interjected and said that they were getting new readers that won't be a problem anymore and I pointed out that when I only get $5 worth of gas there I go to John's gas station on Higuera Street at Madonna to use my card there and get more gas. At this point John got snippy with me and said well you're entitled to get your gas anywhere you want it doesn't matter. To which I said that I would continue to get my gas elsewhere and that I did not appreciate his rude action and his comments. He sniffed again asking me if I wanted to talk to his manager. I told him no I would rather just contact Chevron directly. After all this manager has allowed John to treat his customers this way so why would he do anything different just because I complained? Go elsewhere

This gas station is easily accessible from two different streets, Broad (227) and Orcutt. The store is clean and has what you would expect in a gas station convenience store. They have a spot that has water and air for your car, and the parking area is relatively large and safe. The gas prices are competitive but not as low as Costco across town.

Always very clean, has public bathrooms, never too busy to be a quick visit. Friendly staff, clean and respectful. Freshly cooked food and hot fresh coffee are all good to the tongue. I've always enjoyed stopping here for gas and a snack whenever I'm in the area.
