i would say my experience cheering here was less than "not good" . i've kept my mouth shut for years about this place and my experience but i think it's time to share :) i cheered for central coast elite when i was 15. and while i was there i was getting groomed by a male coach that worked there.. he mainly worked with the really young kids but when he saw me he was interested in me. we started "dating" and he completely stripped me of my innocence. he would pick me up at the gym and take me to his house. one time, on the way to his house the gym called him. he looked at me and told me if i said anything.. he would kill me. i was terrified of him but didn't know what to do.. because he worked at the place i was supposed to feel safe at but i definitely didn't. eventually, i decided to tell coach aly what was going on. from there on out i got treated different and not in a good way. the coaches stopped talking to me. i wasn't getting treated great. aly would belittle me and tell me "you're old enough to know better" but i was just a child and you were supposed to protect me. after that i would leave practices crying everytime. i didn't understand how it was my fault i got taken advantage by a adult man there that was approved to work with children. this whole situation got brushed under the rug when i don't think it should have. i have since reached out to coach aly to maybe give tumbling another shot and it did not surprise me when she read my message and did not respond to me. it's so weird how you get groomed at a gym when you're a child and now years later you're not welcome back. again, making me feel like this was all my fault. maybe don't say "everyone is welcome" on your website and then pick and choose who is welcome. coach aly cares more about her pride than letting me tumble at her gym. i have nightmares about what took place at that gym and how it affects me today. they say they care about you but i promise you they care more about the money and keeping the place with a clean record. coach aly is not a good person & that gym is fucked up and i stand by that.

We got to a have a birthday party here and it really was the best birthday party ever! The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond setting up and decorating with personal details everywhere. The kids had so much fun and all the guests told us it was the best party they’ve ever been to. We’ve been guests at birthday parties at other gyms but CCG is definitely the best gymnastics party it town!

Do not send your young children here!! Staff may throw your children in to foam pit- unprovoked and for no reason. I'm specifically talking about the camps here- which are run poorly!!! When I picked up my son- the first thing he told me is this one male instructor picked him up and threw him in to foam pit!! This may be good for some kids- but my son has sensory issues and it's a big no no. When I spoke w head of camp they assured me that they would talk to staff and refund me... here we are 3-4 months down the road no refund!! They also told me it’s against the rules for staff to do that- well if the male staff thinks it ok- the environment must promote that!! It's so sad bc I really wanted to support this place. Not to mention parents are hurting right now for reliable places to send their kids! My son is 6- I will never send here again! I recommend going to the gym off broad- they are great- staff are trained well! Environment is safe!

My five kids have been at CCG for 10 years. It is hands down the single most positive extracurricular opportunity they've had. The entire staff genuinely has the best interest of children at heart. The coaching staff is absolutely the best on the Central Coast. I have never doubted that my children are physically and mentally safe in the environment Mimi has created for the best gymnastics around. The relationships my children have formed with coaches, teammates, and their families are truly life-changing.

Central Coast Gymnastics has been a second home to my children for as long as they can remember. From the parent participation classes to being on the Boys Team and T&T Team, we have had amazing experiences. The lessons my children learn will help them in all aspects of their lives. Teachers have commented on their perseverance, work ethic, ability to take feedback, and dedication to their goals. I can’t imagine who they would be without CCG.

Best gymnastics gym hands down. Coaching staff are professional and know how to coach gymnastics. If you want your child to have fun and learn this is the place.

I love CCG, I was on the Xcel Team for 2 years and spent many years before that doing other gymnastics and tumbling classes. The owner, Mimi is the best and always willing to help.

My family appreciates how CCG has figured out a way to let the athletes train but keep them safe at the same time. It is all that hard work that has paid off for the kids. Let's face it the kids are all suffering mentally and physically but CCG gives them a place to go and relieve their stress and just be kids. CCG gives them something to look forward to each week and actually have something they get to do in person and be with friends. The kids get to be a part of a grou

Our daughter is part of the competitive team here. Can't speak highly enough about the gym, coaches, and owner. Truly invested in the children and do this for all the right reasons. Through COVID, they have been beyond professional and rigorous in their approach to cleanliness, care, and following all recommended protocols. Great run business, great place to be. Highly recommended!

My daughter has been taking classes and attending camps at Central Coast Gymnastics for 4 years. We have always been very impressed with the level of professionalism, enthusiasm of the staff and the varied opportunities they provide for the kids. None of this has ever felt more important than the last few months. CCG provided an awesome, safe, summer camp experience for our daughter that has not only lifted her spirits but has been so positively impactful for our family.

Absolute 5 star gym. Our daughter is on their competitive team. Coaches are professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Organization is run superbly. It's a very safe and fun environment with great kids, parents, and personnel. Our daughter loves to be there. Highly recommended!
