I like to go in and check out their Warhammer 40K supplies. I’ve been to a few Warhammer stores in SoCal and Nemo’s seems to command a higher price for the same items. It’s not outrageously marked up but it’s noticeable. Nice game room to the side of the building. Overall, it’s a good place if you want to pick up some more of the obscure board games.

We stopped at this shop because they have a wide variety of collectibles for any nerd lovers. There are cards, comics, DVDs, video games consoles and games, retro CD players and other retro items, records, etc. Despite the wide variety of items they keep the store well organized.

Captain Nemo's Comics and Games is a treasure trove of both classic and modern games. It's a nostalgic journey through aisles filled with treasures. We found exactly what we were looking for while soaking in the atmosphere of childhood memories. It's a perfect spot for a trip down memory lane or to discover a unique gift for someone special.

I wish you could give less than one star. A totally bogus company. They advertised help wanted... made me fill out a FIVE page employment application. They wanted me to prove that I can do long division, which I did. I made sure they got my application (because they did not communicate back at all). They finally let me know they got it, but then they never once reached out after that. This was for a position to basically just work in the store. You do not need to know long division to help customers. I've never once had to jump through so many unnecessary hoops like I did with this. I think they are just pulling people's chains at this point. BTW - they are STILL posting that they are looking for help. What a crock of BS. Captain Nemo - whomever runs your store/HR, needs to take a course in how to actually run it.

Like coming here since The Sub burned down years ago. My son picked up a few records and I got very cool Wonder Woman wallet. There are comics, cool items, and music. It is such a fun place to go to. Parking on 2 exterior sides of the store. We come here every time we drive to the Bay Area.

My favorite store, they have so much, but the don't really know what they have. This is why the stars are low. Prices are fair, lots of title I would not find anywhere in stock or at all. Still they could do some discounts especially on current titles.

I think this store is a great place to get CDs and games etc. but I don’t think they should be okay with having employees that ask for customers numbers and make them uncomfortable. My sister came up to visit me and went to this store while I was out working and told me of an uncomfortable experience she had with a worker named Adrian. He came up to her several times while she tried to shop, even bringing up how his friend recently hit a dead body on the freeway????? Is that really what anybody wants to hear while they’re trying to shop??? He eventually asked for her number and when she politely declined he sulked off to work upstairs. I think captain nemo’s should correct this kind of behavior and make it more clear to their employees that they are there to work and help customers, not hit on them and make them uncomfortable.

They have a good, broad selection of music, comics and game related merchandise. However, it is hard to spend too much time on there because there is no A/C and it is so hot and stuffy!

Always on our list of places to go when we're in the area. Amazing collection of vinyl, CDs, DVD and games. Also, a lot of good used audio equipment available to buy. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. A great place to check out!

The Warehammer 40k stuff was so well organized. It blew my mind! Seriously though, this store is mind boggling! It is so large, and has so much stuff. It is not mostly a comic store, it seems like a pawn shop, with the stereo repair and vinyl collections. The comic section and memorabilia are still pretty amazing. They are not giving any discounts, but it doesn't really matter.

Unbelievably amazing collection of all things collectible and fun...games, comics, music, gadgets and games galore. Go now and get lost in the aisles.

Huge selection of vinyl, comics, vintage tech, and tabletop games. Most of the staff are super helpful. Nemo’s is a destination every time I visit SLO. Yeah, the owner is a little out there, but the place is a local landmark. I’ve been going for decades.

This place is HUGE!! Upstairs and downstairs, it is packed to the gills with stuff. From Funkos and weird trinkets to games and gaming systems of every type, CDs, DVDs, VHS, records, comic books, manga and anime, gaming sets, collectibles, and more. All at extremely reasonable prices! It is so packed in there it's impossible to look at everything in even a day! Left there was a PS3 game for $20 that's $45 on Amazon. My mom left with 2 CDs for $12. Will definitely come exploring in here again!
