“I came in today and mentioned we had to relocate to SLO because of the Altadena Wild Fires and the two employees were beyond compassionate. They literally searched for random things to toss into our bag for free and gave us a 20% discount so we could stock the new game closet at our rental and help distract our two very tender girls. Incredibly kind mom and pop shop that I could not recommend more highly. Will forever remember their generosity and compassion.”

“Barnes & Noble? Uhh, why would you ever go 'round the corner to that place when this place exists?? Do you know how many hidden treasures lurk in this book store? The prices are insanely good, they have 25 cent and $1 specials and the staff is very helpful. I found everything I could carry out of there except my William S. Burroughs, Bret Easton Ellis and Chuck Palahniuk novels I was looking for so, took one star off just because I was so bummed out ?.
In all seriousness, go here when in SLO; mandatory stop for voracious readers and bargain hunters looking for rare or overlooked editions.”

“Me & my oldest love reading books & my youngester ones love the kids section because it's not just books. My oldest had searched up book stores while traveling & came across this one & we're so glad because this location has been the best Barnes & Noble book store we've seen so far. It's a two-story building & even has a blind date section that none of the other book stores had. We will definitely stop here again if we're traveling through again, might even make a trip here just because of the nice experience we had.”
