Me & my oldest love reading books & my youngester ones love the kids section because it's not just books. My oldest had searched up book stores while traveling & came across this one & we're so glad because this location has been the best Barnes & Noble book store we've seen so far. It's a two-story building & even has a blind date section that none of the other book stores had. We will definitely stop here again if we're traveling through again, might even make a trip here just because of the nice experience we had.

Did not feel welcomed during my visit this weekend. I took my child to get books because she loves Eric Carle books .The mother and kids in front of me received such welcoming service while me and my daughter didn’t even get a smile. Stickers offered to the other kids but not my child, we are Hispanic and it made us feel out of place. I regret buying anything here. Also you can’t use your Starbucks loadable card at this location.

They keep kicking me and my friends out for one little thing, today me and my friend were sitting at the table and they kicked us out. They are always rude to people and give people attitude. DON'T COME HERE

Went in for the first time yesterday and bought a couple of books and the cashier named Bryan rung me up and sincerely asked me if I was doing alright, since my book selection was about self healing. It’s nice to know that there is still kind people out there! Will definitely be going back!

One of the few brick and mortar bookstores left in the region, it's a classic Barnes and Noble with a huge selection, clean and organized confines, and a little cafe upstairs. Unfortunately the huge amount of comfy cozy seating has been removed since this location's hayday, possibly due to issues with homeless, possibly local students overstaying their welcome. Either way it's a downgrade from its former atmosphere but a stalwart bookstore where you will likely find what you want. A shockingly large selection of great Lego sets upstairs was a pleasant surprise.

Anytime I come to SLO I come here just for books, always has what I need and want, if it doesn't it usually is there soon. My first place to go to when I want more manga and whatnot

I love Barnes and Noble. What more needs to be said. I can't wait to add these titles to my library. Book stores of all types are such wonderful places. Also, the gal at checkout was wearing such a cute dress. You go, girl!
