The last time I was here was like 8 years ago... I worked and stayed here before and I'll be honest this is the most unstressful job and place I've ever been. I love the people here, very accommodating. The rooms are awesome. My favorite time here is Christmas ? time. It's very festive! You will rrally feel the spirit of Christmas! The cookies here and their restaurant were the bomb. I will definitely will come back and stayed here again.

We book through their website with full payment. Somehow we need to pay for (hidden) amenity fees ($4x) at check-in.

Ideal room for a short stay in San Luis Obispo and the surrounding areas of the coast (Pismo Beach,...). The decor is superb and the setting very warm. The bed is very comfortable!

We've been staying at the Apple Farm Inn at various times since 1999 -- where I proposed to my wife! Over the years it has had different management, but from our experience and clearly all those other 5/5 reviews (and some people manually entering in a dozen extra gold stars for fun) reviews, right now is the Apple Farm Inn at its absolute best.
Great food, amazing rooms, outstanding service. This year is the 25th anniversary of our engagement, and there is NO WHERE ELSE WE'D RATHER BE than the Apple Farm Inn to celebrate!
Our life together started at the Apple Farm -- hope you can make some amazing memories there too!
P.S.: Also just noticed we're the 1700th review -- glad I came by now to post our appreciation. ?

READ THIS before you book!!!! We had the worst experience ever here. I have never written a bad review in my life but as someone who is an avid traveler and a RETURN customer at apple farm, I could not have been more disgusted and disappointed by our experience.
We booked a trellis court room with a jacuzzi and upon our arrival, we recieved no warnings from the staff. Our room was 90 degrees Fahrenheit and I tried to turn ON the AC. After 2 hours, I called the front and they told us the AC is broken in our room and the staff is aware and is hiring maintenance later in the week ... I asked "Why would you put us in a 90F room in late June without telling us? That is so not okay and you charged us full price". THEY knowingly stuck guests in a room with no AC in the peak of summer .... They then called the manager and we were told we can switch rooms and they will discount 25$ of maintenance fees. I said it is unacceptable and they called back the manager, called us back and said "we cannot move you now so you can stay in that room or you can leave". Literally punishing us for nothing. It was insane. It was so horrific to see how little regard they had for us - they just wanted to get rid of us. They eventually moved us to a new room with AC and did not take any responsibility, eventually giving us a 20% discount and thats it. They acted like robots, did not show any remorse and refused to acknowledge our feelings. I will NEVER stay here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND. SLO is known for hospitality and the apple farm is the least hospitable compared to the kindness ive received at ANY OTHER hotel. people must know they may be scammed if they stay here.

I was very excited to get to this hotel cause the reviews was good and that’s what I like to go off. I had a late check in and when I got in my room the couch had food crumbs on it all between the cushion. I went to the front desk and the older lady helped me and moved me another room. Got to the other room and I loved it cause the first room the wallpapers are horrible. So this room was nice I checked the bed I was halfway sleep cause it was like 2 in the morning so I got in the bed went to sleep. Woke up the next morning to a bug crawling on my pillow I jumped up and picked the bug up and took it to the front desk that same older lady said the Adam would be in around 10 he was the manager. I went back to my room to try and lay back down, as I was laying there another bug was crawling on me I then jumped up again went to the front desk again. I spoke with Adam he assured I would be taking care of and he did I got moved to another room this the 3rd room I been moved too with in 5 hours. The 3rd room was worse smh spider webs all on the lamps the furniture was flat it just gave they threw me in any room. I will say being a black African woman I felt I didn’t belong there. The engery was way off I would never come back here. My grandmother was suppose to come and I’m glad she didn’t this place is not for color folks.
Rooms: Dirty. Webs all the lamps.

It was like 15mins from the beach we went to. The room was nice but the air didn’t work good. We have a baby and the site said they offer cribs for $20. I asked for a crib at check in and was told they don’t have any. It wasn’t that they weren’t available, they just didn’t have them.
We didn’t have complimentary water bottles in the room, had to go downstairs and ask for them.
After 8pm, dining options are limited
No late checkout
Employees were loud around 4:30am in the halls, greeting one another, it woke me up.

The stay was alright. Customer service was lacking heavily though. We had left a sweater in one of our rooms and after check out we called and visited the hotel to ask if they found it. The answer from receptionist was no (with extreme attitude), went downstairs to ask multiple housekeepers face to face if they found it...again the answer was no, multiple times. Low and behold it was in the housekeeping cart right in front of them!! After we saw it we took it and the housekeepers just laughed. I feel like that's why they don't do maid service during your stay anymore. WATCH YOUR STUFF!!
Safety: Don't leave valuables in your room.

I got into this hotel very late at night after a very long train and bus ride, and it was the warmest welcome I could have hoped for. I was immediately greeted, checked in seamlessly, handed two cookies and offered hot water for coffee or tea. In the daylight the hotel proved just as charming. Each room seems unique in furniture and decor and I found the room very comfortable. The waterwheel on the back building is a unique touch and is soothing to listen to from the jacuzzi and pool area. The hotel alerted all guests that there was going to be a shave ice truck parked in the lot one evening and it was so nice to take advantage of! There are a ton of inns and hotels along that stretch of Monterey road but apple farm is a little more set back from the street and feels secure and calming. The restaurant of the same name is not included but is so close by and very good!
Walkability: Easy to walk to the apple farm inn restaurant (less than 1min), some restaurants within 5min walking, downtown 20min walk straight down the road

My room is beautiful. Quiet and peaceful. The property has so many wonderful little nooks and crannies. Reception has been so friendly and answered all my questions. It’s a really nice place to stay.

Single mom stopping in for the night on my way my way to Los Angeles. My room, 215, overlooked a breezy creek cloaked with eucalyptus, trees, and maples. The room was stunning! A four poster bed, a small couch, and a wing back chair outlined bay windows with hurricane shutters. I were able these to open to enjoy brook’s sounds. There is a fireplace as well as the heater and air. Extremely large bathroom. I will say I had the hot water turned up as high as it went, and it was just enough. The pool is heated! As well as the hot tub! I did not eat at the restaurant, but if I’m headed down south again, I will definitely stay at Apple Farm Inn!

We recently stayed at the Apple Farm Inn for our honeymoon, and it was truly a magical experience. From the moment we arrived, Adam Bills, the General Manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. His genuine care and heartwarming approach made our honeymoon incredibly memorable, making our stay the highlight of our journey.
The hospitality at Apple Farm Inn exceeded all our expectations. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The restaurant was another standout feature of our stay. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable.
We can't recommend Apple Farm Inn highly enough. It deserves more than a perfect rating—10/5 stars for the exceptional service and unforgettable experience. We would rate our desire to stay again at an extraordinary 20/10. Thank you, Adam Bills, and the entire Apple Farm Inn team, for making our honeymoon so special. We'll definitely be back!
