I haven’t written one of these in a decade, but after my shopping experience at Ambiance yesterday, I feel impelled to shout out Cat and Caleigh for their amazing customer service. They made me feel so comfortable in the store and went above and beyond to pick pieces that would flatter my body type and look. I ended up purchasing amazing new denim I never would have selected on my own thanks to their help and enthusiasm. It’s a rare thing to find a store packed with so many beautiful pieces AND employees that seem to genuinely love their job- can’t say enough great things about those two! Thank you!

I never understood the appeal of Ambiance to some people. It is excessively overpriced, and the clothes are not exceptional. I remember the shock I once had after seeing a pretty white blouse and looking at the price. More than $300! If their clothes were unique, I would understand such prices, but it is far from being the case. Unfortunately, we live in a small city where selection is limited, especially if you are older than student age, but you can still find much better deals and a better selection in SLO or in the surrounding towns.
