I have always loved coming into this store with my grandpa as a kid and getting free popcorn. I will not be visiting this store anymore. I brought my son in with me in his stroller and placed cleaner in the cup holder spot. Went to the Biddle section by the register to get carpet solution. A worker named Lori grabbed the cleaner from my cup holder and told the girl to ring it in. Like I was going to steal it. I feel extremely uncomfortable and I was in no way planning on taking anything I didn't pay for. I felt judged and left crying I will not be returning any time soon.

Family owned? Very engaging & helpful. Refreshing really. I needed an obscure charger (new android). They searched and searched, found it but it didn't work. Return just as pleasant. Will be my "go-to" for a lot of things. More than just hardware.

My first time visiting this location. The service was excellent! I interacted with 3 associates. All were welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and left me certain that I will be returning to this location on a regular basis... Most important is the initial purpose of my visit. I was looking for some fairly common and basic CPVC plumbing fittings. I initially paid a visit to the "orange depot" building super store. Now I am aware that various PEX A & Shark Bite Pex plastic plumbing systems are taking center stage these days and rightfully so. Never the Less CPVC is still used in various residential "new construction" applications though not nearly as popular. Where you will find perhaps the most common residential plumbing application of CPVC is going to be in mobile homes, park model style trailer homes, RV Campers and in residential housing built between the late 1980's to approximately 2014 and right up to the present. Which when taking into consideration the region where we live and the large number of mobile homes, RV & Park Models. There is Plenty of CPVC within reach. That means that there is a high likelihood that if you are going to upgrade or add on or possibly repair plumbing such as sinks, showers, etc. You will encounter CPVC. Now CPVC has its drawbacks and it certainly is not my favorite. Yet there are plenty of situations where the existing CPVC is going to be involved in your project. In many *not all of those situations. The continuation of CPVC makes the best sense. So I was surprised upon my visit to "The Orange Depot" to find the associate working the plumbing dept eager to help but clueless to CPVC. I found myself giving a crash course then after a thorough search while the associate was on his gadget trying to locate the product in the store. I concluded they don't carry that product and informed him of this. Give him an A for effort. He summoned his manager while I was by that time pricing other products for another project and just about to leave the facility. In a bold display of ignorance. The manager informed me that CPVC is no longer produced in the U. S. I felt embarrassment for him. I thought how shameful... This franchise would not think twice to put an associate in a terrible position of doing anything for a sale. Even if that meant making fools of themselves & their brand. It was now after 5pm. A google maps search led me to this Miners Ace hardware. The associate immediately filled me with additional CPVC knowledge as he escorted me directly to the source of my search stayed long enough to offer me a couple suggestions and politely went on his way. HOW AWESOME WAS THAT! I FOUND REAL PROS AT MINERS. I didn't spend much on my 1st visit. But as a new lifetime patron. My initial experience is the reason that I will spend thousands before it is all said and done!!!I'm giving Miners in SLO an A+ in every category!!!!THANKS FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM FOLKS~????? ? ?~

I had stopped at this location a few months back on my way home from golfing in Morro Bay. I needed some items not available at Home Depot and found them here. While there, I noticed their extensive display of patio furniture. Fast forward a few months, my wife and I decided to furnish our deck at our second home in Cambria. So yesterday afternoon we drove to this Miner's Hardware location to see what was available. We found a nice selection of choices and price ranges. I pointed one set out to my wife that I liked and surprisingly, she liked it too. I found Annie who was very helpful and, despite being near the end of her shift, made sure our purchase and delivery needs were addressed by Ray. When we inquired about a storage box for the cushions, Annie put us in touch with Jane who was equally helpful. Jane completed our order and let us know about the 8 percent savings that day on our order. That was great added to the wonderful service we received while there. Our five piece set of furniture will be delivered Wednesday afternoon and we're looking forward to relaxing on our deck in style. Kudos to the staff and management at this Miner's Hardware!!!

I always have a pleasant experience at Miners. I get the best customer service. the latest experience was not pleasant. I had thoroughly checked plants all over in the garden center and I guess got some tree buds stuck in my hair. The young man checking me out let me know I had things on my face/hair. I said yes I was really checking plants but I don't care because I'm going home. He wouldn't let it go and pointed at me 2 times saying you have things on you. I just wanted to leave as quick as I could. it was strange that he wouldn't let it go. I have never experienced that ever.

What a lovely oasis! Friendly helpful staff, beautiful scenarios-you can imagine just how it will look in your garden. Lots of hints and tips from the enthusiastic garden team at this location. The sun /garden umbrellas are on sale in a variety of colors & there are many other sale items! The plants are healthy and a beautiful addition to the patio!

I went in for advice on my Impatiens. They said it looked like aphid eggs. I bought the Neem Oil as they advised. I don't know why I feel surprised by the customer service there each time I go. The staff go above and beyond. If they don't have the answer they will certainly find out. Many thanks to the Garden Dept. ?

Local people helping local people. Most friendly staff you can meet. Absolute great experience every time. They can order stuff for you as well. I lived on Mitchell st., and now Sacramento. This is my neighborhood hardware spot.
