Miner's Ace Hardware is one of the best Ace hardware stores, a gem that is very inviting, quaint, and cute. It feels like a mom & pop establishment. The staff is incredible, super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, authentically friendly, and courteous. There are plenty of red vest helpers ready to answer questions. The store has the best garden center in San Luis Obispo, with experienced people for gardening ideas. Their inventory for nuts, bolts, and washers is more expansive than the big box stores, and prices are comparable. It is a great place for DIY projects, and support helps them stay in business.
