“I cannot tell you how much I'm in love with this place. Every time I call, I either speak to Mike, Jackie, or Brian. The customer service is OUTSTANDING and each time, Mike or Brian has walked the products out to me and they have been so kind. They have a plethora of baking supplies. I always call requesting sprinkles or food coloring and Mike has given me great suggestions and answers on all of the questions I've had regarding brand and products. I'm so impressed with their inventory as well as their generosity. I will recommend Linton Paper & Supply to every baker I know! Will be back in a few weeks for more products - Linton is the best!!”
“I'm working on a kitchen remodel and needed a few sheets of walnut plywood and 4/4 lumber for a cabinet. After exchanging a few emails with Jack, I visited their showroom and he offered to give me a tour of their warehouse. They have huge selection of hardwood plywood (best I've found in the east bay) and both rough and surfaced lumber.I picked out the sheets I wanted and they showed up the following afternoon. For someone without a lumber rack, free next-day delivery is an absolute life saver.It would be nice if they could display prices on the labels in the warehouse but that might not be feasible due to the fluctuation in pricing.”
“I have been looking to fix a car seat that with tears and the foam padding started to be unpleasant but couldn't find the right foam for it. So when I found this place and called they were quick to help. Stopped by and had the foam I needed within 10 minutes of talking to the guy there.Oh if you're coming here you need to enter on Waller or whatever the name of the street right off of it is called. “This place is great. They have everything a cook, restaurant, kitchen or home could need. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Tonight I was in a real bind and needed something but I wouldn't get there in time before they closed. Harry went out of his way to meet me somewhere with those items. I'm sure this is not a normal thing but he knew this was a critical need and he made it happen. Thank you!!”
“They have all tobacco products, and their prices are amazing. They now offer exotic sodas and other great merchandise for smoke shops. T-shirts, Blackwood merchandise, lighters, Cigars.... This place has amazing service and will take requests for pre-orders and deliver. So happy to find this place!!! The service is quick and assistance is available to the vehicle when needed. Please read LAJ's response to her negative review."Annette,LAJ Wood Products has a return policy of a 15% restocking fee applied to any items returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. All refunds will be issued by check and mailed within 7 to 10 business days. Items cannot be returned for a refund past the 30 days purchase date.The date of your purchase was on 09/30/22, and you came to our shop to make a return on 01/6/23. Since your purchase date was well over 30 days, we could have denied your return. We are predominately a wholesaler, but we understand that some of our retail customers may need more than 30 days to complete their staircase project which is why we allow in certain cases for customers to return items for a partial refund past 30 days. However the restocking fee increases each month from the time it takes you to return your items.We would like to apologize to you if we were not clear about this, or if there was any misunderstanding regarding our return policy. I reviewed our email correspondence, and we did inform you of a possible increase of restocking fee that will be applied if returns are past 30 days of the purchase date. But since we did not have any additional info regarding your exact purchase date at the time of your email inquiry, we failed to inform you that the restocking fee was going to be 60%. “This is a restaurant supply store. They have select items in large quantities at a wholesale price. I live in this area and there isn't a traditional grocery store nearby, so I use this place to get certain items that they have in regular sizes and other items that I can use in bulk. They don't have bags, so bring your own!”

“Just a quick update on Costco Hayward. Costcos are generally the same around. This one is not too bad and has a plenty of parking. I rarely go to this one as it's a further one. It is a pretty busy location, so try to aim for shopping during non-peak times. This time around it was just a normal Costco run, finding Coke Zero, finding a deal for sweatpants. And easily paid and checked out.”

“I recently had an issue with my 1998 Honda CRV and I was pretty certain that it meant replacing the alternator, which I was told can be a rather expensive fix. I called around several mechanics in my area. Some wouldn't let me bring my own part (which I wanted to do to save a little money), some were too busy to fix it ASAP (which I wanted to do since I need my car to drive for my job and it didn't start at all). I called Salim at ASA and he was so patient and kind said I could bring the part since he didn't have it and he could probably do it by the end of the day (it was already about 1pm at that point and I still needed to get it towed to his place!). After getting it to his place he jumped into action and quickly realized, to my relief, it was the belt, not the alternator. He ordered the part quickly and got it in in a snap, staying late to make sure it was done properly. I asked if I should go ahead and replace the alternator and he was honest with me that it didn't need to be replaced (even though another mechanic might tell me to replace it as well since it's old so that he can charge more). Salim even called the next day to make sure the battery had charged properly overnight. I cannot recommend his service enough! He was very kind and capable and will go back to him with all of my mechanic needs, not just alternators and starters, in the future. Thank you!!”
“The Costco Business Center in Hayward, California, offers a practical and convenient shopping experience for those with a Costco card. Situated in a spacious facility with plenty of parking, this location provides an extensive selection of products in larger sizes compared to regular Costco stores, catering to both businesses and individual customers. While it does lack a food court, the absence is compensated by an impressive array of items tailored more for restaurants, but it's definitely still worth exploring. Along with a much sizable refrigeration section for perishable goods (located towards the rear of the facility), you'll also find a huge assortment of candies and various snacks in bulk, a feature not commonly found in standard Costco locations. Despite its specialized focus, the service from Costco staff remains consistently excellent, making it a reliable destination for your bulk shopping needs for those living or passing through the Hayward area.”

“Must have A SELLERS PERMIT! I'm considered the "public" I don't not own a "brick and mortar" business. I do 100% online sales. If you were just a normal person walking in, you would lose your mind with the cheap CHEAP pricing, and end up walking out with dozens of items. But if you are an online seller it's just OK. Most prices are comparable to online line prices. But if you are willing to really look and do some research, there are some great deals here. I've spent about 5hours here researching their pricing and I've made $1,000's by buying large quantities or specific items. Good service. The Afghani woman is very nice and helpful.”

“I was at the Costco warehouse today on Hesperian Blvd. and somehow I lost my Apple watch in the warehouse. I back tracked all my steps and didn't see it. I went to Lost & Found and of course no one had turned it in. While in a panic I called my daughter and she reminded me about the "Find My" app on my phone. I opened the app and flagged down one of the employees and explained the situation. She stayed with me while we were trying to figure out where the watch was. It showed that it was still in the warehouse and we pinged it and still couldn't located it. After staying with me for quite awhile another employee walked towards us with the watch and stated that someone turned it in and found it out in the parking lot. Anyway long story short, I can't THANK THE EMPLOYEES AT COSTCO for going above and beyond to help me. I wish I had the person name that was helping me but with all the excitement I forgot to get it. THANK YOU! THANK YOU!”
