“Renu the manager was great over the phone, extremely pleasant in person and very flexible with our need for an urgent parking storage space for a small RV/camper van. She was also able to accommodate a last minute challenge with tow truck access to our designated spot and gave us an alternative location without any to do! Facility is clean and organized with secure gate access in/out. Customer service was key and I would definitely recommend for that reason alone!”

“I came to this auto body repair shop a few weeks back to get some work done on my Infiniti q50. I came in with a bunch of external damages and left with it lookin like new again. Repairs took a few weeks to complete and I was back on the road again, they would weekly call me and update me on the status of the repair or if they needed more info from either myself or my insurance. Staff was friendly, and helpful all throughout this journey and I appreciate the work they did for me.”

“Just rented a space in this business. My old place was nothing compared to this one at all. Everything was smooth online , reserved the size I need. Next day came in and the manager Elsie was super friendly. AllMy questions answered and explained all rules. Place is super clean. Can’t believe I last so many years in my last one. When opened the door at the new place the impression I got was like the stuff members really take care of all units. Couple hours later came back to the unit to arrange boxes and ran to the manager again in the hallway cleaning around the buildings. I definitely recommend this place and I’m sure will be here for many years.”

“Brought My Truck In (Pete 388) DEF System Was Acting Up. My Mechanic Couldn’t Figure It Out. I Was Skeptical To Bring It At First Reading Some Of The Reviews. Upon Arriving Thursday I Was Greeted By Ivan At The Service Front Counter. He Was Very Knowledgeable And Broke Down The Steps They Needed To Take To Repair My Truck. Even Though They Were 5-7 Days Backed Up From Getting To My Truck They Started Working On It Immediately. They Communicated With Me Daily On Where They Were At With The Repair. They Were Able To Diagnose It Right Away And Fix It. I Was In And Out In 4 Days. They Even Helped Me Out On The Bill Because I Told Them I’m A One Man Company And Not A Fleet. Would Definitely Recommend This Shop ??”

“I rented a 26’ box truck and a car carrier (with insurance) from another location and I foolishly jackknifed the empty car carrier and bent the coupler latch. I didn’t notice I damaged it until I got on the highway and realized the rig was suddenly driving much more jerkily and squirrely-like than before. I drove the rig to this location first thing in the morning to solve the problem. They looked into swapping the car carrier but they didn’t have a viable one on their yard (they were all in worse shape than mine), so their service center replaced the part I bent on the spot and got me rolling smoothly again without a hassle or delay. Really nice people to work with and I’d go here again if I wasn’t moving away. Incidentally, my advice to everybody is ALWAYS BUY THE MAXIMUM INSURANCE ON EVERYTHING YOU RENT! NO MATTER WHAT! AND TRY TO FIND YOURSELF A SPOTTER FOR COMPLICATED REVERSE OPERATIONS”

“Super awesome staff! Jesse came after hours to let me put some stuff away (they close at 4 and on google it said 5). I also didn't know you need an appointment, as I was accessing a friend's unit and she didn't tell me. It was truly life saving because I was a few days away from moving to Ireland and had to put my heavy stuff away that day, as it was the only day I could get a friend to help. If Jesse hadn't saved my life not once but TWICE (when he let me in a second time because I accidentally left my passport in the unit) I would have been so screwed. Thanks to you guys!!!”

“Ordered a U-Haul online, an hour before pick up. Pick up was easy; same day. Returned truck in under four hours. The only thing was when a gallon of gas was added did not move the line, and when 1.5 gallon of gas added, it went up all the way to half a tank. So more gas was added then when we picked up. Return was easy as well and fast.”

“Recently "Me and Patti" ordered a couple of new LazyBoy Recliners. They got to us a couple of weeks early. Great, yes? No. We weren't expecting them for at least three more weeks. I don't have a pickup or van. What to do? We decided to call our local U-Haul, shipping moving supplies too, and rented a newer looking clean van. Ordering on line is soooo easy. Got to my local U-Haul five minutes early. The office was clean, organized, and with staff ready to help. My guy, Jorge, was the best. Check out was so quick. I would say I was ready to go in less than five minutes. I was thinking " Wow that was easy". Check in , and hello again, Jorge. We got the van back into inventory, less than three minutes. "Who knew? I didn't." So let's put this all together. Quick, easy, rental on line while at your dinner table, way too cool. ( Even with Patti telling me "No phones at the table".) Then flying through check-in and even then more awesome, practically handed Jorge the keys and left. So easy, so happy. And you can be happy too. U-Haul on Thornton Avenue ( right near 880). Need a rental truck or van? Need moving boxes or supplies, U-Haul has you covered. ( Like a warm and fuzzy blanket). Jorge and the rest of the friendly staff are ready to help you get real happy, really easily. "Me and Patti" will be renting a box van on January 2nd 2024. Going to Sacramento to pick up my new (to me) Ducati D2R "Monster 803. Toys for Xmas. Never gets old. We'll let you know how that goes when we return. U-Haul Fremont, ready and very happy to help.
