“About a month go, my tire light came on and didn't feel comfortable driving all the way home from work so I stopped by here to have it checked. turns out, near the valve of the tire was damaged. So had them replace it. 15 mins later and $35 I was on my way. I noticed they did other services besides tires and made mental note.So, now it's been a minute (ok, about a year) since I had my old changed. Light never came on, but then my commute is 8 minutes and not 25 miles which could sometimes take me an 1.5 when I lived down south. I also had a great mechanic in LB so was hesitant and I sure as hell wasn't going to pay dealership service charges and then tell me I needed something "extra". Got off work early and called to see if they had availability for that day. Yes they did. 5 mins later, I was here (conveniently located near my job) no frills, no upcharge and 30 min later, and 79.00 voila, synthetic oil change and good to go for another 6 months. Friendly, better bureau registered and registered with State of CA. Legit service. Cash or Debit card only. Says it on the wall, I'm saying it in the review so no excuse to say ya didnt know.”

“The MECHANIC SHOP is solid! They’ll get you in and out faster than any place I’ve been without ever sacrificing quality work or kindness checking you in, no matter how busy they are! Half the time I’ve gone they are super busy and it’s never dead or even slow so I really don’t know how they do it.Found them in the comments on a Reddit post, looking for a reasonably priced mechanic that knows how to work on a Subaru because I didn’t want to pay dealership prices for an older (but immaculate & reliable) car that I might need to trade soon, due to a lifestyle change. The dealer wanted to charge me $250 to do an oil change and diagnose the problem, saying the diagnostic without the oil change is $300. I got an even higher quote from a Subaru specialist mechanic. Ugh.They diagnosed it for free and fixed the problem (a fan belt I think) the same day for less than the quote. So happy I was able to just check the google reviews before I went to confirm this is the spot. It takes less than 20 minutes to get there and I drove 45 minutes no traffic plus bridge the last time I found a good mechanic but he was the sweetest older man and retired, which is the saddest day for me, a few years ago! I really miss him so I’m super grateful to find these guys.PS They will tell you directly if they can’t do something:They don’t do electrical work (at least on Subaru) or diesel but will recommend someone”

“Excellent customer service with honesty. David assisted me and was very friendly.Dropped my car off to get a diagnosis and quote for an oil leak. Initially, got a quote to perform the oil leak repair but after disassembling parts to get a better assessment, the technician found the main source of the leak to be different from the original assessment and informed me of the finding instead of proceeding with the original work, which would have not fixed the main source of the oil leak. Ended up not performing the repair due to the extensive amount of work and associated costs not justified by the value of the car.I would certainly choose this shop for my future auto repair needs.Service: Auto engine diagnostic”

“I honestly don't know why it took me this long to finally write a review for Hayward Tire Pros when they have helped me so much this past couple of years with my tire needs. Just a little recap before I share my amazing experience with Shane and his crew this weekend. This tire shop is right off the freeway across from the business Costco. Whenever I need my tire patch because Bay Area freeways are so amazing, Hayward Tire Pros has always helped me and has never charged me anything to patch my tires.About 2 months ago, I was in dire need of replacing two of my tires, so of course I decided to go here and get a quote. I received 2 quotes, one for the same set of tires I had on my car which was a little bit more on the expensive side and then I got another quote for the Hercules tire brand. It personally did not make any sense to me to buy 2 brand new tires of the brand I had on my car if it wasn't going to match the rest of my tires so I decided to go with the Hercules brand. I was hoping to just get my tire patch because it kept on going low on me and then they showed me that my tires needed replacing which I also saw and that's when I decided to go with just replacing my tires.Fast forward to this weekend, Saturday (12/09). I am such a procrastinator when I decided to go to their shop at 4:30 when they close at 5 pm on a Saturday. They were closing up shop already and Shane and his team were all ready to go home. I didn't force them I understood if I had to come back on a different day I just wasn't sure when I was gonna be able to come back at that point since I was going to be working starting Sunday. Shane asked me to pull up next to their bay and said they would work on my car. Mind you, all their roll-up gates were already closed and they were ready to close for the night but Shane decided to help me and for this, I am very appreciative. Another challenge they had was that they sold out of the same brand I have on my car. Shane explained to me some options they have for a temporary fix and while we were figuring this out, one of his guys called a different shop to see if they had the same tires and amazingly they did. They told me another shop had it and that it would around 20 minutes for it to get to their shop which I was okay with. Once the tires got there they installed it and I was good to go. Shane explained to me that tire rotations are included on my new tires every 5000 miles. He also suggested I check my alignment which I will come back for. Shane also noticed that my tire sensor was still on and I explained to him that my sensors were bad so he went and checked if that was the issue and thank god we did since 2 out of the 4 tires had a dead sensor. It was also good that they checked cause at least I now know that I only have 4 sensors and that my spare did not have a sensor. All in all, I have never had a bad experience with Hayward Tire Pros. I am not just saying this because of my experience on Saturday. I have seen them in action, helping other customers simply put air on their tires because it's low. You can be someone who needs new tires or someone who simply needs a patch on their tire and they treat you with the utmost respect.They will not try to screw you over just to make a quick buck. They have been here since I moved to Hayward 8 years ago and probably before that.I highly, recommend Hayward Tire Pros for your tire needs. They are very trustworthy and reliable. “I just want to gush a minute about Ruben and Company at Hayward Tire Pros. I went in there to get my tire repaired or get a used tire depending on the repairability of my flat. Ruben said the tire was damaged beyond repair. He did not have a used tire in my size. He recommended one similar that would work and made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
